Kyo went downstairs to get some milk, only to be surprised to see that Kazuma was in the house. "Dad?" Kazuma heard that and looked at him. "Oh, hello there, Kyo." The others then looked at Kyo as well, and Kyo was thrilled to see Kazuma, his adoptive father, running towards him. Handa is happy as well while Tohru, Masayuki, and Emiko are certainly positive about their possibly positive father-son relationship.
And then, a chat between Kyo and Kazuma with some hot tea followed after that, with the others watching nearby. Both of them were having a good father-son relationship. But then, later on, after Kagura comes back from getting some fresh air and while all of them are outside, Kazuma devises a plan to have Kyo reveal his true cat form in front of Tohru and others so that Tohru would save him. So, Kazuma did so by removing Kyo's Juzu beads from his arm, freaking him out. And then, Kyo transformed into his scary true cat form, scaring the others except for Kazuma. Masayuki, Tohru, and Emiko were especially terrified of his appearance, while Handa was shocked that Kazuma would do such a thing, knowing Kyo's true form for a long time. Kagura and Yuki saw it, too.
"What is that?" Masayuki asked.
"Oh no…" Handa gasped.
Then, thinking that his friends, including Tohru, would be disgusted by his appearance, Kyo ran away.
This prompts Tohru to give chase, and Masayuki, Handa, and Emiko follow her at a distance.
Kazuma, Yuki, and Kagura were left behind, and Kazuma felt that Handa might hate him for doing that to Kyo.
Kyo had unintentionally had his true cat form revealed in front of not just Tohru, but also, in front of his friends, too.
