Chapter 28 - 28. daisy's

I gasped. Trying to catch my bearings from that took a second. As my vision finally cleared and my heart rate slowed down a bit, I was able to see clearly. This was all wrong I thought as I looked at the stylist doing my still very red hair in the mirror. I looked over at the Goddess of Destruction who looked pale from whatever The Goddess of Death was whispering in her ear.

This wasn't right. If that was a vision there's no way it changed drastically without my help. Where did the Goddess of Death even come from? I looked back over to noone sitting in the chair. She left. What was happening I was suppose to be in bed waking up or everything was suppose to happen the same way until I changed it. I looked at myself in the mirror. What just happened? I looked up to my dad smiling at me. Confusion covered my face.

He furrowed his eyebrows while sitting in the empty seat next to me. "Are you not happy to see me sweetheart?" I looked at him and shook my head. I was beyond confused.

"Well it's time for the ceremony. Now I need you to act like you want this. Behave please." He said in a demanding tone. Even with the please I knew there was no negotiating. Fine.

He grabbed my arm and helped me up. I looked at the mirror just now noticing my hair was finished. Along with my makeup. When was my makeup done I wondered touching my face. Today was not going how I thought it would. Too many things weren't even making any sense to me. My dad pulled me along and we teleported to wherever the ceremony was suppose to be.

Arriving to the venue was not how I pictured it. Everything was a huge contrast from my first wedding. At my first one everything was white. This one everything was beautiful, colorful. There were daisy's and tulips everywhere. They were perfect. I grabbed a Daisy and twirled it between two fingers. This was everything I could ever want. If my dad was trying to pacify me by having it exactly how I want it, it was working.

I felt relaxed, content. I looked around. We were outdoors. It looked like a garden. I tried to walk away so I could touch more flowers but my dad's death grip on my arm prevented it. I hurried up and snatched a few more flowers. They were lovely. "I see you like the flower choice, I'm glad. I hope everything is to your liking." I looked up to some random God talking to me. He came forward with my veil and put it over my head.

"Now the ceremony is simple. You walk down the isle, stand on the altar and The God of bonds will start the ceremony. Lucas will be late but no worries." He rushed out.

Everyone acted like this was the real thing today. I hate to see how hectic it would be on our actual wedding day. He said a few words to my dad.

Right before the God walked away he took my flowers out of my hands. As I went to snatch them back, my dad handed me a boutique of daisy's.

With a smile, I started rubbing the flowers. I would be taking these home. The music started to play. I looked up from the flowers and my dad started walking us down the isle. It was so much better than my first wedding. There were flowers on both sides of us. I switched my boutique into my other hand and reached out to touch all the flowers. I glided my hand on the flowers. Allowing alittle power free so I could feel more connected to them.

We turned a corner and the music got louder. The flowers switched to all blue daisy's. I tried to pluck one but it was stuck. We kept moving so I couldn't get any free. It was like my father was making it impossible on purpose. When I finally was able to get one free I looked up to rows of Gods. I froze. This was a rehearsal why were all these Gods here. My dad pulled forward so I had to keep walking. I looked around, there was atleast 100 Gods here. What was going on.

I looked down at my Daisy and twirled it. When we got to the altar my dad gave me a kiss and walked up. As I climbed the few stairs I noticed all of the red dresses and Goddesses on my side. Did they really use all of the allies of Lucas. When I finally got to my spot the God of Bonds tried to take my flowers. I snatched them away fast. It looked like he wanted to argue but he was quick to change his mind because of my defiant look.

As He started to talk I tuned him out. Just because I was forced to get married didn't mean I had to listen to what he was saying. I would know when it was time for me to pay attention because Lucas would be here. As I looked Around I noticed Artema was sitting next to Lily. My former best friends. I started to feel the power buzzing inside of me, I had memories that I didn't even know were there until I seen both of them.

As my power started to hum inside of me a small breeze swept past blowing my hair, along with a dozen daisy's. I hurried up and reached for one. The first attempt was unsuccessful. The second attempt was a success. I grabbed a Daisy with a huge smile. "ahem" Someone cleared their throat. As I looked forward, my heart stopped, standing in front of me wasn't Lucas but it was non other than Luther.

I took a step back ready to run but he was faster than my preoccupied mind. He pulled me close. "Where do you think you're going my love?" He asked licking his lips. Those beautifully kissable lips.

I had to leave. Where is Lucas? This was never the agreement. I tried to look anywhere else but he grabbed my face and made me look at him. A wicked smile on his face.

I had to get out of here. My mind wasn't right. I tried to say something but nothing came out. I tried again and still nothing. I didn't even realized that I couldn't talk. How had I not realized this? The power in me started to hum, I was freaking out and I couldn't even make a sound. Right when I could feel the magic coming alive, Luther lifted up my veil. My eyes went wide like saucers. He turnt to his side and grabbed a Daisy. I tried to move back but his hold on me was tighter than the hold my father had on me.

He brought the Daisy to my nose. I looked down and It was beautiful. So beautiful. The smell was so intoxicating. I tried to grab it from him but he moved it away. Without a voice I couldn't express myself. I looked up at him to show my disapproval. But he just gave me a wry smirk. He put the Daisy back to my nose and I looked down again. He twirled his finger and pollen fell everywhere around me. I sneezed. He gave me one more smile before putting the Daisy behind my ear.

I looked up at him confusion in my eyes. "Maybe you shouldn't tell Gods your secrets beautiful. Wouldn't want anyone using them against you, now would we?" He whispered in my ear. My eyes went big. How could he remember, unless he had his full power. I wanted to walk away but I was stuck in place.

I surveyed the area and noticed there were daisy's everywhere. There were only tulips by the entrance. Daisy's were on almost every surface. What did he do?

"You can start the ceremony now. I'm ready to renew my vows with my lovely wife." Luther said to the God of bonds. Renew our vows. No this cant be happening. He remembers.

"Baby relax. You get stressed so easily." He said In a mocking tone. He rubbed my lips.

How didn't I see this coming. I just had a vision today. How could this happen without a warning. Tears spilled down my face. I didn't even need to say I do. He already knew that we were married. This was all for show. Hundreds of years of escaping him, just to finally be right back in his clutches.

This is why I ran. I should've tried to mold him into something else but this was always inevitable. He got here because he can never change. I should've hid away. I doomed myself when I went looking for him today. I have to fight. I was a emotional mess so I knew when I tapped into my powers, I would lose all control over my emotions. I looked for any way out of this but there was none.

I completely forgot about the ceremony until Luther grabbed my hand and slide my old ring on. The same ring he gave me at our original wedding. He was making a statement. I had to do something now. I tried to pull my hand away but he had a grip as strong as steel on it. I looked up into his eyes. He gave me a smile that wasn't pleasant. A promise that I would never escape again.

He yanked me close to him. His body still was firm and that was one thing I loved about him. He was fit and had just the right amount of muscles. He wasn't like the God of War who was extremely built, no We fit even though with heels I only reached his lips. I couldn't look him in his eyes being this close so I looked down.

Big mistake because his hand grabbed my head and brought it to where I was laying my head on his shoulder. He moved one arm to put his ring on and quickly put his arms back around me. "We have so much catching up to do baby" He said while kissing my head. I was stuck. I had only One choice. I wrapped my hands around him. "Good girl. See thats not so bad...."

He didn't get to finish his sentence because I was stabbing him with a dagger in his back. Time stood still as realization crossed his face. I pushed the dagger further in. I vowed that I would never go back to how it was. Maybe it would've been different if he didn't have his memories like I thought early but now that option was off the table. He was still the same Luther, he always would be.
