Chapter 3 - 3. For better or for worse.

"That could've gone worse" The God of Gods said as he patted lucas on the back like they were buddies. The only reason lucas even agreed to this was for the sake of all the Gods that were effected by the ban years ago. What's the point of being The God of war if he can't even kill?

Soon he's been telling himself, soon. He was one of the most ruthless and manipulative Gods to roam this God forsaken prison he called home. Soon, this realm would perish and regret the day they decided they could mess with his magic. He just had to play nice like the God of Darkness planned.

"So how about that drink I promised you?" The God of gods said while smiling like he always does. Honestly Lucas would prefer to just do this his way. Instead of having to deal with this engagement but he will play along for now.

"I could use it but you know I like my woman more submissive so I don't know how this is going to work. I'll take your word for it for now but I just thought I should let you know I'm not against war," lucas dryly said.

"What did I tell you about that attitude luke?" Someone said from behind Lucas. Lucas turned around to see The God of Darkness smirking. He looked like he just got back from a meeting so instead of replying he just shook his head and asked "Did your meeting last that long? I thought it was suppose to be over awhile ago?"

"Let's go to the office to chat. I would rather not be discussing business in the open." The God of Darkness said while turning around. He always carried himself a certain way so most of his allies didn't question him. They just followed him blindly. Even with the ban that had most dark gods weak and pitiful, he still was one of the most powerful gods. He knew that he could be powerful enough to subdue Mazaya he just needed to find a way for her to lift this ban.

"So how about that drink you offered up Exodus?" Lucas asked while casually looking around the office. "I see you changed a few things. I like it. I think I need a change also." Exodus turned around smiling while holding the glasses and bourbon In his hand. "I let Mazaya decorate it awhile ago and I just thought it was time for something I like. I'm glad you like it. She was not hap...."

"Speaking of Mazaya!! She does know that the wedding is next week right? I need to make sure everyone's on board. This won't work if she doesn't agree to it. Also she does realize this will be a wedding oath right because I will not accept any surprises." The God of darkness interrupted. The God of Gods stopped and set down the glasses on the desk looking thoughtful. "It should be fine and if not we have a oath so you have nothing to worry about. Luther yo...."

"I don't have time for this" Luther interrupted again while slamming his hands on the the desk. "You talk about this like its a joke and it's not. I don't want should. I need guarantees." He roared.

His eyes glowed red from all the anger that was building up from this pointless conversation. He was tired of people who couldn't get the job done. Centuries of trying to get the ban lifted and he needed everything to go perfect.

"Now I'm warning you and I need you to heed this warning because if you don't when I take over from your mistakes I will put a ban on everyone's magic, the consequences be dam. You need to let your Air headed daughter know that because I think she thinks I'm a joke. She thinks we are a joke." Luther emphasised by pointing to lucas and himself. Exodus just stared blankly at Luther's furious expression.

"I will block every vote when I'm under rule. So you better get it through her thick skull that this wedding is happening because if you don't I promise you that you will not see what hit you." Luther blatantly stated. Lucas could only smirk, he had nothing to add. He loved the drama it gave him a thrill you could only imagine. Exodus was pale though. he knew that it would come to this he just didn't think that Mazaya would be so against this.

Before Exodus could speak Luther left and Lucas smirked and followed. The God of Gods could do nothing but stare blankly. `what have I done`. He thought to himself. He slowly poured himself a drink.

Five shots later he slumped into his chair laughing. Nothing was going right today. He closed his eyes to try to think of a way to fix this. Mazaya had to marry Lucas otherwise all universes would perish.
