The night before Rosalina was supposed to leave a feast was held to say a proper goodbye. The next day the weather seemed to share the mood in the castle. The sky was dark gray and the rain poured as if from a pitcher in the sky. The King sat in the chair staring into the fire brooding. The Queen finally stopped trying not to cry. Bethany held Rosalina's hand crying. The three toddlers do not really know what was happening so they played on the floor. Their laughs were the only sounds to break up the crackling of the fire and the rain beating on the window.
Tears fell silently from Rosalina's eyes, Edric walked into the room to let them know that Fenris was waiting at the carriage. The women gasped and grabbed each other. They hugged and cried on each other's shoulders. Prince James stood up and pulled on his mother's skirt, " Mamma, why you cry?" he asked. The Queen released the princess and Lady Rosalina and knelt down to her son, " Because, Rosalina is going away for a while." she said. Graciela heard and went to her mother, " Why, Mamma?" she asked. " Because she is getting married." The queen answered.
Rosalina knelt down and gathered all three to her who looked at her with tears, " I have to go take care of four children that need a Mamma too." Rosalina explained with tears still falling. " No, you cannot go away!' Princess Tristana yelled and all three knocked her over and all three hugged her. The Queen pulled the crying children off of Rosalina. Rosalina smiled at them and stood and walked over to the King. " Are you going to say goodbye, or maybe cry out or something?" she questioned. " I will never say goodbye. We will see you soon." he said, stood and embraced the young red head. " Remember what we said. One letter will bring you home." he said. " I will remember. I will miss you all. Remember I love you. You will always be my family." She hugged them all and turned to leave. She stopped at the door and took one last look at her family.
