The next day , the undead army attacked again but this time with less numbers of and without any undead beasts.
Kaijin didn't participated in this battle but he participated in the battle after that.
3 days passed by the undead's attacks were constant and the allied kingdom forces were also constant in beating them up.
On the 4th day the numbers of undeads increased a little but that wasn't even a problem for the allied forces.
Meanwhile a certain someone started to move

" being the leader of the undeads I should be with them but if the information is true than this will be a huge blow to that bastard " The man in the black robe said to himself.
It was a bright purple night with no clouds it was a clear sky and the man was standing in front of a villa. It wasn't a huge or fancy villa what was important is that villa was of Kaijin's grandparents and his little brothers were with them.
" Let's get started then" a voice came from behind
" you're right" The man in the black robe said
" what the" as soon as the man turned a punch came on his face and his body flew 100 meters far and stopped when it collide to a tree.
" why are you here" the man immediately stood up like nothing happened and he removed his robe and he was a man in his mid 20s in a black armour and black pants with white hair.
" indeed you are asking the right question but I guess you already know the answer" A man came forward and it was Kaijin.
" You should be at the battlefront right now"
" How did you knew i was here"
" Do you take me as a fool" Kaijin scoffed at that man's words
" I knew some undeads were stalking me and my family and the only person who can't fend for himself in our family right now are my brothers of course I knew that you would target them but I didn't know that you will come by yourself Mr leader or should i say Mr stalker " Kaijin said
" What are you talking about " the white haired man started to sweat
" seriously don't you have enough intelligence on me to know that i never forget anything. You were stalking Rin some time back weren't you , and now it all makes sense you were the reason that the undeads attacked the academy" Kaijin was standing with his hands folded.
" shut up you bastard I would never dare to harm her I loved her I loved everything about her and you are the reason that she died" The man said loudly while pointing a finger at Kaijin, he was so angry with the statement of Kaijin that mana started to condense in the atmosphere.
' No matter what I think but why his expressions are like the one saying truth' Kaijin thought deeply he trusted his judgement but the facial expression of the man in front of him were of a man who is saying truth.
" Don't you have shame , even after Rin's death you have that same arrogant personality. Rin trusted you so much and you just let her die you selfish prick " the man said " Shut your damn mouth I did try to save her" Kaijin countered " but did you do your best , did you give it all? " The man asked again
" She trusted you so much and even in her last moment all she needed was you " hearing this tears started to form in Kaijin's eyes. He was a string man had a hard personality but he couldn't hold his tears back.
" I tried my best , I tried my all , I wasn't enough powerful but I wanted to save her and I would've done so if there was any possible way " Kaijin was now kneeling on his knees crying his heart out.
" there is still a way to save her all I need is to give more power to this stone and I can bring her back " the man showed the shining black stone in his hand which was full of life energy
" how" Kaijin asked " all you need to do is give your own life in exchange for Rin " the man answered with a straight face
Kaijin didn't talk about Rin much to anyone but she was always on his mind. He always remembered the moment where he felt helpless , he used to thought that he is the strongest in the academy but at that time he wasn't the one who saved Rin instead it was Rin who saved him and he always consoled himself that he tried his best.
But now when there is another chance to bring her best can he do his best again so he decided that he will bring Rin back in return for his life.
" Do it" Kaijin said with a expressionless face because at that moment he wasn't thinking about anyone not his family not his friends all he was thinking about was of Rin.
The man came forward and placed the stone on Kaijin's chest and the stone got absorbed inside the chest and black light started to come from Kaijin's eyes and mouth and chest.
" You are doing a great thing." the man said and moved a little back.
Kaijin was still aware of his surroundings and he was also feeling a lot of pain in his chest.
Kaijin was glad to have that chance to bring her back but then at that moment something unexpected happened , the leader of the undead started to recall his memories.
" You know I'm 200 years old" The man said with a sigh
' what ' Kaijin couldn't speak but he was thinking out loud
" I met many people with life energy but the Life energy of Rin was unbelievable almost never ending."
" I placed this stone inside all of my lovers and they didn't last long but Rin was special I met her when she was only 2 and she was brimming full of Life energy and then I placed the stone inside her. Yeah our love was only one sided but it was true love that's why I stored her life energy within this stone so that we could always be together "

The man was recalling his moments with Rin and Kaijin was full of anger at those words

Kaijin spread his wings and started to absorb mana from nature like a solar panel. He was absorbing it at a very fast rate and at the same time using all this mana to somehow break free from it.
" It was very disheartening to see her in this state but then I saw that the stone was also a little damage. I guess in her last moment she was somehow able to suppress the stone and use its power to protect you. I was a little angry at her for doing this to save your miserable life but then she again showed why i always loved her "
" I retrieved the stone from her but then she suddenly started to breath and I immediately again placed the stone inside her. See how much she loved me that when she saw i was a little angry about the stone she gave her last ounce of life force to the stone "
" Her whole body was full of Love and energy you know because normally only the energy gets absorbed but she gave even her body for my love "
" and unlike you I never wanted to forget about her so when she started to disintegrate I took her heart out and ate it and it was full of Rin's flavour " the man said and started to cry " I love you Rin I will always remember you "
" ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" Kaijin roared at those words his body got covered in his silvery armour and his wings were shining brightly
" You... Bastard" Kaijin was so angry that even speaking was real hard for him
" what are you doing why are you resisting you need to sacrifice yourself for Rin " The man said in confusion he was still thinking that he was Rin's Prince
" How" Kaijin said in a cold voice his whole body was now covered in red and white lightning
" well I have her heart so I know what would've she wanted if she was here right now "
" She won't be coming with her body?" Kaijin asked
" Why would she , she doesn't need one now she can share it with me and her heart is already inside me" the man said with a proud smile on his face.
" You sick psycho bastardddd..." Kaijin felt like an idiot to trust him. It wasn't Kaijin's usual self actually he just quickly accepted thie deal because he was eager to save Rin and also so that he couldn't have any second thoughts or regrets that could hinder his decision.
But Kaijin still wasn't able to suppress the power of stone and the stone was leeching his life by the second , at that moment Kaijin's eyes got covered in bright white light and a girl appeared in front of him whom he knew very well.
" Rin.." Kaijin said to her
" it's not your fault Kai and there is nothing that you can do for me except to live without any regrets" Rin said with a bright smile and stood in front of him.
" I am... Sorry I.." and Kaijin started to cry like a poor baby
" I don't have much time Kai I can not be here with you forever. My soul is trapped inside the stone and with your life energy I was somehow able to get connect to you so don't waste your time by apologising to me because i never blamed you for this" she said and grabbed Kaijin and made him stood up again
" I love you Rin I always loved you I just thought that I'm not good enough for you and now.." Rin stopped him by putting her hand on his lips
" And now you shouldn't have any regrets alright because I'm happy that you said it and also I started to like you because of your grumpy attitude so don't cry please never... Only cry when you are sad Kai because no one should cry out of love" Rin said and hugged him.
" my heart is now within that monster but remember my Love and Care for you will always be with you in here" Rin said and pointed at his heart and started to get away from him.
" Not so fast" Kaijin said and grabbed her hand and pulled her close to him again.
She was much shorter than him so he lifted her from her waist and held her close to his face.
" what.. are.. you doing" Rin was blushing and her face was all red
" Completing your last wish and also I never got a taste of you" He said with a grin
" You devil is that something you should say to a girl that your never got a taste.." before she could say something he kissed her , his first and last kiss to Rin.
" Well you always liked my devilish side didn't you" he said with a chuckle
" Good bye my sweet honey bear" she said laughing and slowly started to fade away and Kaijin also started to laugh but also was crying at the same time.
And Rin left him a special gift which was her Magical Ability Absolute protection.
After completely absorbing the power left by Rin the power increased by many folds and turned into a totally new ability and with this Kaijin again got transfered to the battleground where he was struggling against the stone.
Kaijin who was kneeling with his wings open stood and then watched that man with eyes full of hatred and then lightning also vanished around his armour.
" Infinite Protection " Kaijin roared.
