"Where am I? Am I dreaming? What day is it?" Thomas's voice trembled with confusion and disbelief.
"Now, please calm down and turn around," a voice said, its tone soothing and gentle.
Thomas hesitated, his fear making his movements sluggish. With a trembling body, he finally mustered the courage to turn around. Before him stood a man, an ordinary-looking individual who exuded an air of calm and reassurance.
"Who are you?" Thomas asked, his voice filled with a mix of curiosity and caution.
"First of all, don't freak out. Listen to me, alright? I mean no harm," the man said, his voice resonating with a sense of sincerity.
Thomas nodded tentatively, still trying to process the situation. "Okay," he replied, his voice laced with uncertainty.
"I'm God, alright?" The man's smile seemed out of place, almost peculiar.
"God?" Thomas echoed, his eyes widening in astonishment.
"Yes, that's right. I am the supreme entity," the man explained, his smile never wavering. "You see, gods are more like my employees, and I am the employer. I created not just this world but many worlds. However, occasionally, I conduct a documents check to ensure everything is in order. Yesterday, while reviewing some files, I discovered an anomaly. Your file, Thomas, among the earthlings, caught my attention. Upon double-checking, I realized that you don't actually belong here on Earth. It was a mistake on my part, and I'm here to rectify it and compensate you properly."
Thomas's mind whirled with a mix of disbelief and curiosity. "But why compensate me? If I don't belong here, why not just remove me as you said? I am an anomaly in this world."
The man nodded appreciatively. "You're quite perceptive, Thomas. Yes, I could simply remove you, but that would create more problems for me. You see, I've established a system, a set of rules. As the creator, I can break those rules, but if the gods who work under me learn about this mistake, they might begin to doubt my decisions. Besides, it's not just about that. I have values, and I won't simply erase you because I can. Furthermore, you've lived an average life here on Earth, not meant to be, so I believe it's only fair to properly compensate you."
Thomas mulled over the man's words, considering the implications. "Okay, so what is this compensation you're talking about?" he asked, his curiosity piqued.
The man's eyes gleamed with a mix of gratitude and determination. "I'm glad you asked. I have everything planned. I will take your soul and place it in the world where you truly belong. You won't die; instead, you'll continue your life in another world. You won't lose all your memories because, technically, you're not dying. As for your family, they will simply forget everything about you, as if your existence were erased from this world. So, what do you say? I understand it's a difficult decision, but time is of the essence."
Thomas took a deep breath, weighing his options. "Okay, alright. I suppose I'm satisfied with your explanation," he said, his voice tinged with a mix of resignation and acceptance.
"Thank you so much," the man said with relief. "My assistant was worried sick about how I would handle this situation. Don't worry, the world you're going to is quite accommodating. Many people have reincarnated there before, spreading English as the main language. You'll adjust just fine. And, in that world, there's magic—just like in the comics. Oh, and don't worry, I'll make sure you're pretty handsome," he added with a wink.
Thomas mustered a small smile. "Alright, I think we should proceed. I trust your judgment, considering you are the supreme one. I understand you're busy, so thank you for everything you're doing for me. Oh, one more thing. If it's okay with you, could you grant me all the knowledge of Earth before I leave?"
The man pondered for a moment, then shrugged. "Hmm, it's not a big deal for me. Even I don't know what kind of magical abilities you'll gain there. Besides, that knowledge won't be of much use, as you won't be able to utilize it effectively. But, no offense taken. I can grant you that request."
With those words, a blinding white light enveloped Thomas, and he felt a strange sensation coursing through his body. When the light subsided, he found himself in a new world, a world where he truly belonged.
"Hmm, let me see what he got. I'm sure he'll be happy with all the powers I've given him," the supreme entity murmured to himself, observing Thomas in his new incarnation.
But as the entity examined Thomas, a sense of worry crept over him. "Oh, no! What have I done? I thought giving him some demon powers would be cool, but I didn't realize he would grow those wings," he muttered anxiously, realizing the unintended consequence of his choice.

Meanwhile, in a hospital room filled with anticipation and joy, a newborn baby cried, announcing his arrival into the world.
"It's a boy! Congratulations!" the nurse exclaimed, her voice brimming with excitement.
Thomas's heart swelled with a newfound sense of belonging as his parents celebrated his birth. His mother held him tenderly in her arms, tears of joy streaming down her face.
"I can't believe I just became a father," Thomas's father whispered in awe, gazing at his son with pride.
"Honey, please, let me see him," Thomas's mother pleaded, her voice filled with a mix of emotions.
The nurse carefully placed the baby in his mother's arms, and Thomas's mother couldn't help but shower him with love and affection. Overwhelmed with happiness, she caressed his tiny face, tears of joy streaming down her cheeks.
"He seems so content. He didn't even cry like other babies," Thomas's father remarked, his voice filled with wonder.
As Thomas observed his new family, a sense of peace settled within him. "Finally, I'm in my rightful place," he thought, cherishing the love that surrounded him.
However, just as the atmosphere seemed tranquil, piercing screams shattered the serenity. Thomas's father rushed to the room where his wife lay, a mixture of concern and confusion etched across his face.
"What happened, honey? What's wrong?" Thomas's father exclaimed, desperately seeking answers.
