PROLOGUE

In another reality of time, we live in a world of werewolves and vampire, twilight related zone kind of theme, werewolves tribe chief Jakob, who imprinted and married Renee a half vampire half human have given birth to a hybrid son, Richard or dick for short, I come from a long generation of vampires from my mums side the Fulham family, we are all still in good terms, Great grandad charlie, his wife Esme, Then mums parents Edward and Ella who gave birth while still human, before transition after dying during childbirth, my dad Jakob Black imprints on their daughter renee and they marry and have me, Richard black has a laid-back kind of attitude like edward cullen, I'm sure you've heard of twilight, also the tribal chief or rather Alpha of the Midnight Pack, the most strongest werewolf pack known in the supernatural world, well that's a lot of responsibility, but not to me, i don't like interacting much, except with my circle of friends and family, whom i also hardly hang around with this days, my long time best friend and beta Cole Orton, I can count on him for anything, and then there's Rosaline Fulham, a vampire and also my friend, who was also adopted into the Culhen family, my vampire family from my mother's side, whom i also believe has had a crush on me, but I just live things to be since I'm not interested, we attend the high school around here, so as to fit into the town, we're more like used to it now, it's a family thing, we keep graduating, but we also try to make sure humans don't find out about us, although we are found to be more attractive than normal humans, which gives us the popular students name at school, we move in and out within our circle not interacting with others, we find it better and easier this way. To some i come off snobby and proud unlike the others, but i wasn't always like this though, until that day.

I was young when it happened, while we were all celebrating in my family, i remember wondering off, into the forest, chasing a squirrel, i kept running after it going deeper, and i lost track of where i was, that's when it happened, they got me, i remember shouting for help, but before they must have heard me, i was knocked unconscious, i remember that day very clearly i was tortured, by the rogue vampire leader Damien and his minions, who were once part our vampire and werewolf reunion, but he and his family became ruthless and and blood thirsty and started feeding on humans, which we are strongly against, for the reason that human blood makes us more stronger, and more alive, and deadly, him ,his followers and his family were fought off, since they were outnumbered they left and he agreed to live, but on the terms that they could live at the outskirts of the town as their own border, without ever disturbing the town, but any one who ventured in there would have to pay the price, and this alliance was agreed to, so he formed a pack of his own, at the outskirts of Forks, where he claimed as his territory. For years all was forgotten, that was until the Forks police department, started to discover dead bodies, or reports of missing people, we found out that some vampires from the other side had come into our territory and had started to feed again, my dad the Alpha then and his men killed all that were caught, unfortunately for Damien his wife was one of them, he became driven with revenge, after years of planning i was kidnapped, for a thirteen year old it was pretty intense, since i was half vampire, half werewolf, i could be hurt but i could also heal for three days my parents or rather my family searched for me, they later found out after he made the calls and threats, but before he could deliver the death blow i was found thanks to information from his daughter Rosaline, yes that rosaline who went against her father's ways and told my parents about his hideout and i was saved.

I don't know what happened next but that I found myself waking on my bed, i later found that the rogue alpha had been killed, some escaped well they were never seen or heard from again, so i tried to recover and get back both emotionally and physically, but let's just say i had changed, i became cold and distant, I was the son of the chief, so i dedicated myself to train, lead and become chief, i wasn't a terror or anything, maybe to the bad guys which for a while we didn't have; If i wasn't training, settling stuff, or with Cole, Rosaline, or the others, i was in my room most of the time, my private space keeping to myself. Well most of the time until they moved into that neighborhood.

107 years later

In forks, after being dispatched to a town in Arizona, forks, i decide to spend sometime off work for the summer with my pregnant wife and 4 year old daughter, so i found the perfect spot in forks, it kind of looks abandoned by the rest of the other neighborhoods, in the midst of a forest, which was perfect for our family alone time, so i took it.

As a cop, it was my job to look around the area, so i did just that, it was nearing dusk, when i reached a beautiful building by the other side , i decided it will be nice to see the who lived around feel more welcome, well at least visit, so I neared the door and as i was about knocking, a man came out and introduced himself as Charlie Culhen, i found out that he was a doctor in this town, i met his family they acted kind of weird, suspicious and they were all very good looking, but i could tell i was overstaying so i left.

It was nearing dark as i drove back home thinking about how weird those people where, i looked up at the road to see a young boy passing in front of my car but before i could make any contact i immediately swerved my car to the other side, coming down i walk up to check on the kid who i almost hit, only to find no one there, like he was never even there without wasting any time i rushed back home, what a weird day.

when i got back home, my wife Dana was waiting for me at the doorway with an angry expression on her face, so i tried to explain, i went to check out the neighborhood, see how safe it is around here, you know, Peter! Dana shouted we've talked about this, no cop duties till the baby comes in, just some family time besides Lilliana's in her room, she's bored dear, fine i said already exasperated with everything that's been happening, i begin to approach the stairs when i hear the phone ring, will you pls get the phone while i set the table dana asks from the kitchen, i head to the counter and grab the phone, i begin to hear scattered voices, suddenly my fellow cop colleague and friend Billy starts to speak in a panicked voice at the other end of the line: we need back up we're under attack some... AAAAHGH! billy you still there, oh my God [billy] : we're at the park peter.....[phone beeping] call ends.....

[dana]: what's going on, who was that, something's wrong i gotta go check what's happening honey, I'll be back i say as i head back to the car.
