"Eons ago, the world perished under the hands of nature. Fires started spreading across the forest; animals, buildings, and human couldn't escape and was burned to death. The weather started to change drastically from an extremely hot temperature to a cold temperature that no one has ever experienced even during winter. The ice in the Northern regions started to melt under the hot weather, bringing a surge of calamity as the water upsurges from the surface and wiped out the neighboring lands with its might. Diseases originated from both the known and unknown started to infect humans. The result was devastating as the death tolls rose…."

"The humans tried to save themselves from these natural disasters. However, powerful human leaders started to see this phenomenon an opportunity for them to get more power by using the fear and concerns of the citizen in their countries. But this lead to another war broke out between countries and kingdoms. Death once again multiplied…."

"After the war between countries, humanity struggled to rise from the tragedy. But the events didn't end there."

"Beasts and monsters started to pour from the cracks that was the aftermath of the war and natural disasters. They crawled out to instill more fear and agony to the humanity. And as expected, humans hid from them with hopelessness inside their hearts and the thought of survival was drilled inside their heads. They would do anything to live…."

A man stood behind the podium, a thick book was on top of it as he flipped the pages and recited the words written inside it. He wore a long white coat with an emblem of the academy embroidered on the upper sleeve of the coat.

In front of the professor, the students inside the classroom didn't appear to listen to his words as some of them had a bored expression on their faces. Some of them even dared to bend over their desks and slept through the class.

While the students were not listening to the lesson, the chiming bell that announced the end of classes for that day rang. The students who sat on their chairs started to stand up, gather their things, and leave the room.

But the professor didn't seem to notice as he continued reading the passage on the book.

"While these beasts and monsters were too busy exterminating humanity, one human came across a Door to another world. Not knowing what was behind that door, the human opened the Door and there started pouring the new invaders of Earth...."

"Vampires, Werewolves, Elven, Dwarves, Ghosts, Dragons, Witches, Goblins, Mermaids, Goddesses, Fairies, and Demons started to step out of the Door the human opened. That is right. The Door the human opened was the Door to the other world parallel to the Human World. Unfortunately, the human was unable to hold them back with his measly strength and died in their hands."

"But the story of that human didn't end with his death."

"Before his death, the human prayed to God to save humanity from these invaders. Then, a bright light started to brighten the skies and almost blinded all invaders on Earth. And as if an answer to his prayers, strange marks started to form in his body. A God's Gift, some humans said when they saw these marks."

"But to the human who opened the Door and received the God's Gift, this was the beginning of his tragedy." A voice suddenly said and startled the professor who was too engrossed in reading the book.

He saw a young man at the age of eighteen wearing the academy's uniform standing before the podium with a mysterious smile on his mouth.
