Chapter 1 - Welcome to Dungeoneer, have a great time!

[... Hello, Newcomer! Welcome to Dungeoneer, you cannot leave and don't worry, the other 1% of humans are on this planet as well, let's state the classes, they will be chosen by your build, strong = [Warrior], etc.]

[Generating Class...]

----

Carlos had woken up from a long day designing the new drill for the [Mark 3.1 Oil Miner] so that it was self-sharpening, resistant, and cheap. It was a long process but they were able to do it by sacrificing the portability of the design, so it was immobile. After he went to sleep, catching up on the hours lost, he got sucked by a vortex into this world. Only to be greeted by a blue square, some nonsense, and a small wagon.

After sitting up, he read through the contents, since there were about 8 billion people on earth, there should be 80 million on this so-called 'Dungeoneer' planet.

After waiting for a minute, another notification popped up...

[Class- Engineer]

[2x Int]

[You got a wagon, nothing else.]

Before, if he could think, he would be in a watery substance, fast but limited. Now it felt like he was in a pot of steam, very fast but also limited. As he read the notifications he saw the multiplier for his intelligence, which explained it, as for the wagon, he was on his own.

[7 days until windstorm]

[Friendly reminder... stay at most 10 meters from your wagon, or you might die from toxic gas, this is before you get booted off world]

After reading the notification, he realized what he needed to do, as many years of watching people survive in the wild, he at least knew what the three main goals were,

[Water, your top priority]

[Sheter, who needs food anyway?]

[Food, ignore the previous goal, starving hurts.]

As for the wagon, it had no handle, so he pushed it atop a nearby hill to observe his surroundings while gathering things on the way,

[Stone *5, its a stone, can't do much]

[Flint *1, Harder than stone but brittle]

[Fiber *9, Spin them together and you got a rope]

[Sticks *7, They are sticks.]

After surveying his surroundings, he found a lake 2 kilometers away from him that was surrounded by steep hills, he guessed it would take him 30 minutes to get there, so to speed it up he hopped into his wagon and leaned forward to start the momentum, as he coasted downhill he saw a few materials but the bumpy ride from the pure wood wheels made everything more blurred than usual.

After arriving at the stump of a tree, Carlos decided to take a break, as he brought out the materials that he had gathered he started to use them, first he held the two longest fibers, each a meter long in his left hand, then he started to turn the one closer to him to the right, once the spun fiber reached to where he was grabbing it, he switched it by rotating the two fibers to the left, now the one he didn't turn was in his right hand, after repeating the process a lot of times, he got a 1-meter long cord held by friction, after tying the ends he started with his second project.

After taking his hardest stone, he put the flint on his lap and started hitting it at an angle, causing the flint to flake, most of the flakes were not usable because he was by no standards good at flaking, but half an hour later he got three semi-usable flakes after taking the most useable one he started to cut off the branches of the longest stick he had, around 1.5 meters long, after scraping the stick smooth, he cut into the end of the shaft and set it aside.

Carlos carefully grabbed his biggest flint flake and notched two divots in the side of the stone, then he sharpened the dull side of the stone making the stone a 'c>' shape, after flaking the flint again he ended up with a '<>' shaped stone, one side was duller than the other, so he picked up the shaft and inserted the flake in the straight cut at the end of the shaft, the flake poked out but the divots lined up almost perfectly with the shaft, so he took two 13 centimeter long fibers, lined them up and cut them so they were the same length.

After going through the process of rotating them, he got a 6 mm thick cord of which he wrapped around the shaft with the divots also having the cord tied around them, after tying them together he got a crude spear which only took him... 5 HOURS.

It is a lot more difficult to do things than those Tv shows portrayed them.

[Crude Spear]

[A stick that stings, try to sharpen it, moron.]

[Cord Lv.1]

[Even a rock can take it out, what are you, an amoeba?]

A little harsh but it was useful to know the capabilities of his creations, as he had finished his break it was noon since the sun was in the middle of the sky, and assuming that the day/night cycle was the same he should be able to get to the lake at 1:00 so he started to push his wagon, only to find that the incline was too steep and it was impossible to go any further.

After inspecting the design of the wagon, he found that the axel was in the open, as the wagon had V shapes to hold the axel to the main body he tied the [Lv.1 Cord] to it loosely so that it would produce minimal friction.

once he was done he tried it out it worked a lot better, the only problem now was the wheels were too heavy and had a lot of inertia that needed a lot of force to make it turn in any way, not mentioning the amount of friction that is created when it meets the V-shaped couplers.

As he finally made it up the hill he was greeted by a few trees and a small lake, after drinking some water he was greeted by some notifications,

[Lv.1 Wagon]

[You put a cord on a wagon, you're just begging for it to be stolen amoeba brain.]
