Ayana shrugged. She was so distracted by the whole situation at that time that she did not even care about the test. She remembered filling in the answers and then got distracted several times by her own thoughts. She thought she would get a lower score than that. She did not say anything when Maria looked at her suspiciously.
"What?" Ayana asked, raising her eyebrows.
"No one had thought that Nolan would be the ace of the year. He beat Maria by 0.5 point and Ayana by 1 point. It was insane," Roman shook his head in disbelief, not noticing the exchange between Maria and Ayana.
Ayana looked around and when she finally found Luca walked toward them with Collin behind. The man moved calmly and confidently and the slight smile on his face as he looked at her warmed her heart. She liked it. The annoyance that started to build up as she waited for him disappeared just like that.
