"Are you sure the girl knows the whereabouts of the journal?" Irene said, breaking the silence inside the car. She was sceptical that Ayana had the book since she was still an 8 years old girl at the time of her father's death.
"I have a hunch that she knows the whereabouts of the book. The book can't just disappear suddenly. Sir Cannon would never burn or destroy the book since he loves experimentation and Canara. I think the only reason Ayana was still alive is that people believe she knows the whereabouts of the book." Luca said confidently.
Irene still looked troubled, but she found Luca's explanation was true.
"You can trust me for this," Luca said as he looked at Irene's worried eyes.
Irene sighed in relief and closed her eyes before she opened her eyes abruptly, looking at Luca.
"What if she came here to take revenge on her father's death?"
