Ayana looked around then breathed a sigh of relief when she didn't see Maria and Orion around.
She walked through the crowd of people towards the street. She was going to visit the residence of Naoki Yamada's only child. She hoped Naoki Yamada's daughter's residence was not too far away because she would be late if she did not find a taxi at that place immediately.
She was just standing at the curb when someone grabbed her hand from behind.
"Where are you going?" Orion's baritone voice rang out.
"What?" Ayana blinked her eyes slightly surprised by the man's presence. She then quickly withdrew her hand from his tight grip. Her eyes quickly swept the surrounding area and did not find Maria's figure at all. It seemed that her friend had failed to distract Orion.
