Ayana frowned the moment her eyes caught Nicolas walking toward her in a hurry. The man's rigid expression made Ayana have a bad premonition in her heart.
"Madam, I am really sorry. Just right after you left this morning. Madam Irene came here and passed me this letter," Nicolas said and handed Ayana a brown envelope.
"I have read the document inside and I have to inform you that I could not book the flight for this afternoon," Nicolas added.
Ayana took out the document and scanned it briefly. She raised her eyebrows in surprise when she found that the document stated that from today onward she was under house arrest. She was forbidden to go anywhere without at least four guards to keep her safe. The letter had the stamp from the military.
