Mira smiled when she finally looked at Ayana, "I could feel your presence around here, but I was not sure since your husband told me that you will be busy for your exam."
"Yeah, i just decide on the last minute to come here and check on him. So where is he?" Ayana directly asked as she turned around. Her heart skipped a bit in happiness when she heard that Luca was there. She was glad that he did not get inside the portal like what she imagine.
When she did not hear an answer, she looked at Mira again. The woman's lips were pressed into a thin line. She appeared like she was regretting the words that left her mouth.
Ayana felt like the happiness she felt just a minute ago was totally gone, replaced with the anxiety that made her chest tight. She raised her eyebrows, waiting for an answer.
"I thought that he told you about that," Mira said.
"Tell me about what?" Ayana asked. Her voice clearly trembled from the anxiety.
