"Do you also shower before coming here?" Irene asked with disbelief when Luca finally sat on the sofa in front of her.
"I was helping my wife take a bath first, and while I was on it, I decided to also take a bath with her," Luca explained with a shrug and helplessness on his face. Luca omitted the part where they made out since Irene would be showing her truly disgusted face.
Irene looked up and down at Luca before shaking her head and sighing really loudly, "You start to sound like her personal assistant. Soon, you will grovel on her feet just to get the information about the journal."
"Related to that, did she tell you something related to her father's journal?" Irene asked as she remembered one of the reasons Luca acted this way.
Irene looked at Luca, and her heart started to feel relaxed. She felt that the person she met last time in Luca's office was not her grandson, but another person.
