Ayana stirred in her sleep and as she turned to the side where he should be sleeping and her hand started to move and trace the bed surface toward Luca's side of bed, like it was trying to find something.
Luca smiled as he stood up from the chair and got back to the bed. Ayana seemed to realize that Luca was getting on the bed, tried to open her eyes and mumbled something. It sounded like she was questioning why he was not on the bed. Ayana's eyes flickered. Luca did not say anything as he scooted over next to Ayana.
Realizing that Luca was back, Ayana sighed as she turned and lay on her stomach while burying her face on Luca's upper arm while resting her hand on Luca's stomach.
