The people who should have interrogated her and tried to force her to confess were frustrated with Rainy's nonchalant attitude. They beat her and make her spit some vulgar and brassy words, but after venting all her anger, she went back being the indifferent Rainy, which made those people fume.
They couldn't do anything and used the extreme method to interrogate her since the letter to start her interrogation and her trial wasn't out yet. In the end, they could just ask her with the normal interrogation method which brought them a headache rather than an answer.
"Who did this?" Rainy's voice was grave as she stared at the poor officer.
Her voice startled the man and made him unconsciously take a step back. A second later, he finally registered that Rainy was waiting for his response.
"Wh…. What did you s-say?`` The man stuttered a bit as he tried to appear calm and collected although his heart was trembling like a leaf.
