Luca's name appears on the screen. Ayana raised her brows then frowned. She didn't have a good feeling about this.
"Hai?" Ayana answered the call.
"Dear, where are you?" Luca directly asked, making Ayana unconsciously look around to make sure that she was alone and Luca would not show up there in a second.
"Why did you ask?" Ayana didn't give the answer right away, but asked him another question.
"Why don't you just answer my question instead of asking another question?" Luca said then let out a laugh. The voice of his laughter calmed her a little.
"I was somewhere. Are you home?" Ayana guessed. That might be one of the reasons he asked that question beside her first suspicion.
There was a long pause. Just when Ayana thought the call was disconnected, she heard Luca's voice.
"Where?" his voice became colder by a few degrees.
"A cafe, near the school. I will be back after I finish everything," Ayana lied.
