"Let's meet him," Bryana said as she tugged Ayana's hand harder toward the car's door.
"Why didn't he come out to meet me? He was not a cripple, right?" Ayana said calmly. Now that she could feel something fishy, she would never get inside the car.
"Ayana, you need to watch your tongue. Don't say something like that," Bryana warned her sister.
Ayana looked at her sister and sighed for the nth time that day. She already feels so tired.
Why did I agree to meet her in the first place? Why am I so gullible? Now I was the one to blame for my own decision.
"He is not. He is just an important figure in District 2 and he didn't really want to show his face in public because he was afraid someone might recognize him," Bryana tried to explain.
Ayana looked around and found no one was around and turned to Bryana with an eyebrow raised.
