Ayana frowned slightly when she heard Luca say the journal that her father wrote was a stupid journal. It was not a stupid journal since everyone want them. The curse was on the tip of her lips but she held herself back and stared at Luca menacingly.
"Whoaa, easy dear, I was just telling you the truth."
It was not the first time Luca told her about that, But her brain is still in denial. She couldn't believe that there was something more valuable than the journal that could make the man help her. There was a bit of fear in the corner of her heart that he would want something she couldn't give him.
"What do you want then? Just be honest with me," Ayana asked after she calm herself. An uneasy feeling surging inside her as her eyes observe the man's face.
Luca chuckled when he heard the question. He looked at Ayana with a vague smile and whispered in her ears, "Didn't you know the answer, dear?"
