Meanwhile, Sachiko was now surrounded by Jujutsu sorcerers and curse users who are determined to stop her.
"Nakamura Sachiko, you are to stop right there. Gojo Satoru is declared as a traitor who colluded with Geto Suguru and took part in Shibuya incident." One of the Jujutsu sorcerers said.
"So, that's how you want to play?!" Sachiko let out a bitter laugh.
"You do realize that Satoru got sealed, right? He got sealed! And here you're saying he colluded with them?"
"That could be their plan. They could pretend to seal him and free him later." They continued, "You were trying to free him? Now that we think about it, you're actually wanted for involving with the curses' group, aren't you?"
Sachiko couldn't take it anymore as she replied, "How can you all be this stupid? Can you even believe your words?"
"It isn't a matter of belief anymore. It's about choosing your side." One of the Jujutsu sorcerers said.
"And you choose to side with those arrogant idiots?" Sachiko scoffed. "Don't get in my way."
"You give us no choice, Nakamura Sachiko."
"Or you have always been colluding with the curses. And there are rumors about Gojo Satoru personally hiding you from higher ups. Maybe it's because you two are on the same side, working with curses."
"Shut up." Sachiko clenched her fists. "And leave when you can." She warned.
But, there was no way they would listen to her. They started attacking her as soon as she finished her words.
Sachiko could feel that her self-control was fading away and she was becoming more and more impatient. With every passing second, she could feel that she was running out of time. She had to get to Gojo.
But, those Jujutsu sorcerers had the audacity to stop her.
She wouldn't forgive any of them if she couldn't save Gojo in time because of this.
Sachiko started to use her cursed energy to counterattack and incapacitate those Jujutsu sorcerers.
Some of them were heavily injured while some of them only get knocked out.
But as more and more curse users started to arrive, Sachiko started to think, 'This is never gonna end at this rate. I actually have to attack with more power or I'll be stuck here for a while , which I can't afford.'
'But that means I will end up killing them.'
Sachiko was about to actually do that but a memory flashed in her mind.
"My dream is to reform this rotten Jujutsu society."
"Killing the higher-ups alone won't solve the problem as they will be replaced with new people like them over time so I chose a different approach."
Gojo once said to her.
She couldn't possibly kill everyone here, right?
Violence alone wouldn't have solved any problems.
At least, that was what Satoru thought.
But, she also couldn't waste more time.
In the end, she couldn't risk losing Gojo so she started to concentrate on her attack.
Soon, Jujutsu sorcerers and curse users who were attacking her lied motionless on the floor, some of them already dead while the luckier ones only sustained injuries.
They were incapacitated , nevertheless.
After dealing with them, Sachiko rushed towards the location of prison realm but she found that it has already moved.
"They're leaving? No!"
Sachiko tried to find the new location but it has already been blocked by *Sachiko.
"No...Satoru can't be gone." She muttered.
"Maybe they are still here and I just can't figure out the location."
But, she knew the chances were slim.
After all, why would they stay here after their goal has been achieved?
Yet, she couldn't bring herself to stop finding.
Until a few minutes later and realization hit her, whoever sealed Gojo had escaped with prison realm.
Sachiko laughed.
She knew hesitation would cost her yet she hesitated to kill them.
"If I killed them all in a single move , maybe I would've gotten to Satoru in time. No, if they didn't stop me in the first place , I would've made it in time."
She laughed but tears were falling down her cheek.
"You were too insistent on accusing me of being a traitor even when I did nothing wrong. And from the start, you treated me as if I was your enemy." She said as she remembered how higher ups treated her. "Fine, I'll show you what I can do as your enemy."
At that moment, Sachiko was so consumed by grief and anger that she barely register what she was actually doing.
All she could register was how she concentrated her cursed energy to destroy.
The only thing she could focus on was the debris left after the station was destroyed and the remains of dead bodies.
The Jujutsu sorcerers and the curses users who were stopping her earlier...
Every single one of them died.
She killed them.
If that was earlier, she would've shaken by the realization of what she did but now all she could feel was the anger.
She wanted to destroy everything that stopped her.
She was about to get to the bottom of it by figuring out the whereabouts of the higher ups when she heard a familiar voice.
"Sachiko...dear..."
Sachiko's eyes widened as she realized that was her mother's voice.
"Mom?"
"Come here. Come to me." She said with a sob.
And Sachiko did, rushing towards her as she always did whenever she got sad when she was young.
Misaki pulled her into a hug as usual and Sachiko sank into her embrace. She felt her eyes tearing up even more with her mom's warm hug but she let it all out and sobbed.
Then, she heard Misaki mutter, "I'm sorry Sachiko. I'm sorry.."
'I was the one who had gone mad. Why is she...'
"Mom..what.." Sachiko asked her mom in surprise but it was cut short as she felt a piercing pain in the side of her neck.
It was a sharp pain as something pierced her neck.
A cold blade, to be exact.
Only then, she realized her mother was holding a knife.
Her mom, her only family and the only one she have left had stabbed her in the back.
"Mom...why...."
She asked again, this time, in tears as the realization hit her.
"I had to do it." Misaki replied, her hands shaking as she was holding the knife without pulling it out, yet.
At that moment , Sachiko had no intention of healing herself and it was as if Misaki had known that, her hands clutching at the knife firmly while muttering out apologies.
