In scene 1 which take place in the street at Venice where Antonio is in a confuse manner as he does not know why he is happy and what is the reason of happiness. Where he met with friends whose names where salanio and salarino . Both of them give the reason of there happiness. But the reason which they gave are not true . But his most close friend Bassanio came who gave the correct reason that Is sad because his ship had gone to the other countries.
