Sitting at the training grounds of the adventurers guild. Cornelius and Secessus are discussing the best way to train Alessia.
Firstly, rediscovering her mana was deemed the most important. Since they can't focus on her physical state until that has been dealt with. Besides, her tenacity isn't the problem, nor is her physical exercise. Unlike her magic, which she seems to know nothing of.
"Another minute passes by, making it a total of thirteen. But I may ask why you are keeping track?" Cornelius asks, having been given quite a strange task by Secessus.
"You will see." Secessus replies, taking a sip of this cup of strongly flavored grape wine.
"Cornelius, would you know of any way to make her rediscover her mana?" Secessus asks, asking his strange spiritual companion who sometimes has a lot of knowledge.
"Well, there are many ways. The simplest would be to make her drink your blood."
"But." Secessus adds on hearing from Cornelius's tone that it isn't that simple.
"But there is a chance she will perish. This isn't the same situation as with Eli. The small girl was also a demon and as a reincarnated is far stronger. Besides Araam, her spiritual companion had done a brilliant job maintaining her overall life force even when one was almost completely broken." Cornelius explains, sounding like it all makes sense. But at first glance it does seem to be a complicated mess.
"Let's take another method, shall we?" Secessus suggest discarding the previous option.
"We can train her as I trained you. Hopefully, she will rediscover her magical abilities that way."
"That seems easy enough, we should be able to make her familiar with magic in a few months." Secessus replies as he stands up and begins to stretch a bit.
"You would be surprised." Cornelius replies, showing quite the pessimistic side.
"I'm going to exercise a bit." Secessus announces as he summons his blood-bound spear, taking a wooden dummy as his victim. Not unleashing any bloodlust or magical aura, he continues to strike the dummy skillfully. A lot of the applicants and instructors stare toward the shade demon. Most probably still remember the day before.
Five more minutes pass by until a familar face arrives. A blond haired veteran adventurer geared to start his day. He approaches Secessus and Cornelius in a still cheerful, but more serious mood than the night before.
"You're all up early, but where is Alessia?"
"Fighting a demon she created herself." Cornelius replies, for some reason, categorizing a heavy hangover as a demon.
"That's later." Secessus adds on, a creepy smile plastered on his face.
"So she's late?"
"Don't worry, we're keeping track." Secessus replies with a more gentle smile this time. Kir feels a cold sensation trickle down his spine as the innocent emerald eyes look delighted at the prospect.
"Oh yeah, before I forget. I came to remind you guys that you can use the bronze rank training ground instead of this one. It's going to get crowded here." Kir informs his 2 friends.
"Where is that training ground?" Secessus asks very interested.
"It's on this street. The third building on your north. It's the one with the bronze plate in front."
"Thank you, as soon as Alessia arrives we will make our way. She can come, right?"
"As long as you train her, yes."
"Good luck with the applicants, Kir. If any feel the need to test themselves against me. Please do tell." Secessus says, already laughing at the possibility as his green glittering eyes scan the crowd, some reflectively dodge from his view.
'Low profile didn't work. However, the adventuring guild doesn't seem to be working together with the wizards. So perhaps it's safer than I thought.' Secessus starts to think about possible precautions he has to take in the future.
During this thought, a familiar dark green haired woman arrives. Her rather long hair is a mess and her frail constitution makes it very clear that she has had a tough night, Her pale skin and the hand she holds against her forehead a testament to that fact.
"How many minutes, Cornelius?"
"Twenty-three." He replies dutifully, looking at the amount of stripes he drew on the paper in front of him.
"What is the twenty-three for?" She asks rather knowing her fate then waiting for the unknown.
"You'ill see." Secessus replies, not giving her the mercy of living without anticipation.
"Oh Miesha grant me your mercy." Alessia mutters, the threat of this morning lingering in her mind.
"Let's hope she does because I won't." Secessus replies again, shredding any hope that she might have had.
"Follow me. We luckily have the luxury to go somewhere more quiet." The shade demon says, beckoning both Cornelius and Alessia to follow.
Quickly, they find another building with a bronze plate and an eagle engraved in front of it. The building itself is on the similar size. When they enter the building, there seem to be one receptionist and some other adventurers of the bronze rank.
"Are you a bronze ranked adventurer?" The male receptionist showing tints of gray hair asks. Showing a professional smile and friendly attitude.
"I am."
"Your name, please."
"Sol." Secessus replies with the name he gave the adventuring guild.
The receptionist shifts through a seemingly dense but not large amount of papers. Compared to the other receptionists from before, anyway. The receptionist takes out a paper and reads it out loud.
"Sol, spear wielder with magical abilities?" The receptionist asks for confirmation.
"Indeed." Secessus replies, hoping that this doesn't take too long.
"As a receptionist from the adventurer's guild, I must officially urge you to visit Drearoth. The adventurer's guild cannot and will not protect any witches from a possible excursion." The receptionist replies with a monotone voice.
"Fine. Can I train now." Secessus replies, starting to lose his patience.
"Of course you can. Have a pleasant day."
Entering the training ground, it looks like the outdoor training ground is the focus of this place. As it is far larger than the building itself.
Alessia follows Secessus faithfully, anticipation and fear the most prevalent emotions on her mind right now.
"Are you ready?" Secessus asks in a serious tone.
"Yes, I am." Alessia answer confidently, having successfully let behind the pathetic state from before.
"Then let's begin our magic training, shall we?"
