"It's finished." The first sight says out loud. Beckoning Secessus closer.
"Do I have to do anything?"
"No, you don't. Just stand here." The first sight replies, pointing toward a ritual circle. This ritual circle looks almost identical to the red eye symbol that the priests wear on their backs.
"Are you ready?" The first sight asks, perhaps for the last time, that they see each other.
"Yes." The shade demon replies in a short and firm manner.
As soon as his permission was given, the runic circle underneath begins to shine brightly. The red, violent light that comes out of it slowly begins to creep up Secessus's body. Wherever this powerful force of divine magic touches, that part of the body disintegrates. However, it's not painful. Rather, you wouldn't notice it at all if you couldn't visually see it happening to you.
Aware that he would lose his physical body in the process, the shade demon tries not to freak out. For a moment he debates mentally if he should close his eyes, but in the end, his curiosity won over any potential fear. He observes closely what the first sight is doing, the way he chants, the way he moves his hands, and finally the carving of the ritual circle beneath him.
It did not take long for the entire physical body to disperse. Looking at himself, he sees the familiar light purple form that he had when talking with those many eyes. It feels unreal, the other times when he was in this state, everything felt strange and out of place. However, At this moment, Secessus himself is the only thing out of place.
The sound of some tearing of fabric interrupts Secesuss's concentration. Looking down at the source, he sees the ritual circle begin to slowly tear itself apart. From the cracks, a violet light shines out. It feels far more vibrant than the similar looking purple light that his soul reflects.
"Goodbye." The first sight says as he reaches out for Secesuss's face. Quickly, he manages to reach him as he forcefully grabs the shade demon's head with his divine empowered hand.
The other hand of the treant priest reaches out for the ritual circle below. As a red and violent light forms around the hand, he forcefully tears the fabric that seemed to keep out the violet light. With no hesitation, he throws Secessus inside this purple-lighted space.
Thrown inside this space between realms, Secessus's soul travels on its own. No longer in control of his own movements, he decides to use this chance to watch his surroundings.
The violet purple light surrounds many of the lighter purple souls and just like a river it streams around in this endless space. There is no pattern in the way it moves, and the speed is hard to determine. This feeling of this space is oddly familiar. Just like those later years, where he dwelled around in darkness.
'Why does it feel familiar?' He thinks to himself, still being carried around by this purple ethereal stream.
'Is it because I lost the concept of time? Perhaps just like this place that feels eternal. Or is it the fact that, just like then, I don't feel anything? Or maybe because it seems endless, just like then?'
'…'
'I don't know… I don't know.'
'…'
'Just like then… I don't know.'
*SIIIIGGGGGGHHHHHH*
Rather unexpectedly, his thoughts are disrupted by an almost deafening, loud sigh. As he looks toward the source of this sound, he sees a goliath of a being standing in this vast space. The creature looks mystical and otherworldly. Its violet and gigantic, ethereal body seem to hold stars inside of it. Giving this being a beautiful looking contrast of starlight and some deep violet color.
The being's head twitches as it looks over toward Secessus. Its eyes made out of this same contrast do not show emotion, they just seem endless and timeless. Just like this space.
His upper body leans over toward the soul of the shade demon.
"Niapa awni?" The creature asks with this unreadable expression. Every word it utters, this stream of violet shakes.
"What?"
"Ino husi nembo ynhu vanufa." The being continues speaking in its unusual tongue, the tone of its voice has become stricter and angrier than before.
"What are you getting angry for? You're the first one that doesn't understand me since I reincarnated?"
"Kijelmaze kemuze?"
"…"
"Ienaza, Ienaza." The being starts to mumble to itself, making himself even more inaudible than it already was before.
The hand of this gigantic being reaches out toward the helpless shade demon. Easily grabbing the soul of this in comparison small demon. Holding Secessus in its palm, it begins to squeeze him tightly.
"What are you doing!" Secessus yells out in a panic.
The being loosens his grip, looking at the small creature in its hand.
"Eerda eda mabra yanko, wenjelwa pemuva. Naypa npa nembesha nnha neva nasiva iano ino."
After finishing its speech, the being throws Secessus's soul at an incredible speed. Violently thrown across this violet space, the shade demon cannot even think properly or even scream out loud.
A familiar tearing sound can once again be heard. Only this time louder and quicker. Swiftly, the violet space changes as the senses of balance and time return. In this world of familiar colors, the first thing that welcomes Secessus is the feeling of pain.
*THUD!*
A loud thud can be heard as the shade demon crashes into this field of grass, leaving a sufficiently large hole.
Slowly recuperating himself, the shade demon stands up.
"If that priest knew about this and said nothing. Then I swear to whatever, I will kill him." Secessus mummers under his breath, angered by the fact that he was just used as some sort of ball.
Looking around, the emerald eyes, see a strange sight. Before him are fields of grass and expansive forests bathing in the early dawn of the sun.
"Wait, the sun?"
"Took you long enough." A familiar voice, that exudes his typical charisma, says, almost scolding Secessus.
"…"
"It's not polite to make people wait, little Ed. You know how many rotations have passed?"
"Cornelius?" Secessus calls out, still dazed.
"Of course, who else would I be?" Cornelius replies whilst moving closer, cane in hand.
"Where are we?"
"Welcome to Genesias, little Ed."
As he puts his hand on the shade demon's shoulder. Cornelius continues to speak.
"You've made it, boy. You got where you wanted. Should we begin our exploration?"
"I wonder when you're going to disappear, again."
"Hahaha, who knows! But there is one thing I can tell you for certain."
"…"
"I will always come back to you, my boy. Never doubt that."
