Zavian bent to put his forehead against Freya's mattress and closed his eyes for a while. He wasn't only tired emotionally, but physically as well. The only decent amount of sleep he had managed to get was for an hour, and that was with his head bent over the tons of papers on his study table.
If he could get away from it all... the thought was tempting, alluring, seductive. Just to go far away, a coward's wish only to be entertained within the walls of his thoughts and nothing more.
