Neera walked to where he was standing and stopped in front of him; stretching he hand towards him, she said;
"I brought the ointment you asked for;"
Zavian's eyes looked at the bottle in her hand and he took it from her; "Come and sit;" he patted on the space beside him and Neera sat down, her eyes stared at her palm as Zavian opened the small bottle.
Taking out some of the contents, he pushed her hair to the side and tilted her jaw so she would look at him.
Neera looked into his eyes and her gaze fluttered. She did not like how he stared at her. He was looking at her with so many emotions as if he cared about her, when only what he cared about was the illusion of his wife he saw in her.
But even when she knew this, she could not stop her heart from beating so fast as she sat close to him. Oh, how stupid she was!
She was walking right into a grave and yet she could not save herself.
