There was a deafening silence in this crowded street in front of The Royal Hospital. There were no street vendors, stores were closed, no cars and horses passing by. Only the two groups of army on opposite direction, glaring at each other, with loaded guns on their arms. They were ready to kill on order just to defend the principle they strongly believed in. On the right, the ones in dark blue uniform were defending the current Royal family and those in bloody red believed in demolishing the monarchy that has been controlling the country.
They were impatiently waiting for something to happen inside the hospital. The in-ear radio of the blue army commander who is standing on top of a military vehicle, rang a call.
A deep, serious voice came in. "You know what to do next, Commander, in case the opposition leader gave birth to a girl, kill them."
"I got this, Royal Highness. They don't know they're trapped. We've installed the bombs, they are ready to explode," the commander replied with confidence. Just few seconds passed, the commander raised a subsequent question.
"Pardon me, Royal Highness, what are you going to do with the Opposition leader's family?"
"Nothing goes out of my control. Next thing they know, it seems they haven't existed at all."
The commander crossed his eyebrows with the King's cryptic message as he ended the call. The commander returned his attention to his enemies, their anxiety and fear could be felt few meters away. Because they knew at this moment, they are fucked.
Just as he turned his gaze towards the hospital, there was a loud explosion at the left side of the modern and magnificent structure. It caught all of them by utter surprise that he almost threw himself out of the vehicle, others ducked by reflex. Just as they realized what happened, blood drained from their faces. They never expected it.
The commander realized it was for him. He looked at his subordinate who held the control for the bombs and nodded his head. He turned towards the shaking, disoriented Red Army, and said to himself,
"Now, it's your turn."
