ONEWEUS CAFE
3rd Person's P.O.V
There were four employees getting ready to open the sweet little cafe in a few hours. There were two people in the kitchen, one making sweets and the other making savouries, one person setting up the cafe seating and making sure the tables were prepared for the days service and the condiments topped up, a fourth and final employee had already turned on the La Marzocco coffee machine and was now doing an inventory check to make sure they had sufficient ingredients for the next few days' services, noting down anything he would need to reorder later in the day.
There was friendly banter between the group while they all prepared for the day, they were doing the 'open' shift from 03:00 to 11:00. Employees were permitted to have their phones out for music as long as it wasn't too distracting or vulgar and today was Kanghyun's turn to have music of his choice playing, his head bopping along as he cooked the sweets they would soon display in the front cases; an assortment of healthy muffins, different cookies and biscuits, as well as various slices and sweet pastries for guests to enjoy with their coffee or hot chocolate.
Kanghyun's mobile phone announced loudly that several messages had been received, this had him frowning when he reached for the device since he knew nobody would be contacting him at this time of the morning unless there was an emergency. The magenta haired male pulled his latex gloves off and opened the notifications to see what the fuss was about so early in his day. The first message didn't seem too alarming but when coupled with the second message it became of utmost importance.
His blue eyes widened and he felt his knees hit the tiles of the kitchen floor although the shock he felt numbed the pain he would feel later. His eyes burned fiercely and the two messages blurred. He knew exactly who the message was about and the tightness that'd been constricting his heart and lungs for the last two years finally released; letting out the tears which had been aggressively denied over and again.
