I was running again in the woods, I was running faster now. 'who was chasing me now?" I asked myself. Why can't these people let me be. Well, I was running away from her, this woman in black. She gripped my hair hard and I yelped in pain. She dragged me on the floor and blood was oozing all over me. What did I do to deserve this pain, I obviously had done nothing to this woman. I only knew one thing and that was. 'she wanted revenge'. Revenge?, Revenge for what?. I asked. I should be hunting her down and teaching her manners for what she was doing.
"You bloody witch!!!" she yelled as the grip on my hair did not loosen one bit. I felt as if she wanted to rip my hair off my head. It was just too tight and I was in pain.
"What do you want from me?" I finally asked her, I wanted to know why she was treating me like this. I didn't know if I even hurt her in her past life, so why was she doing this to me?.
"Ohh, I want to destroy your lovely face so that he would not love you anymore, you are pretty right?, get ready to be destroyed" she said as she grabbed her dagger and tore my left cheek, it was just too painful and I wanted it to end, she turned my right cheek and did the same.
"Get ready to rest in pieces!!" she yelled and dragged her sword. She lifted it and was about to stab me when I screamed.
.....
"Ahh" I screamed as I touched my cheeks if they were torn.
"Wife what happened?" Nathan asked me, he was startled that I had screamed, well, i had to scream. I was about to get stabbed by that crazy woman who wants revenge for something that I didn't do.
"Sorry I disturbed you" I said as my voice was shaking, I was sobbing now, that crazy woman just scared the hell out of me. I would never want to meet her in my life, ever.
"Did you have a nightmare?" he asked me and I nodded. he pulled me closer to him.
"Sorry" he whispered as he kissed my hair and patted my back. I wrapped my arms around his waist as I placed my head on his chest, after a while I was able to calm down, Nathan laid me on the bed gently as he kissed me, he also laid on his side and slept. I guess that he was too tired, I had disturbed him with my nightmare.
I closed my eyes and tried to sleep but I could not, I wrapped my arms around his waist as I buried my head in his chest and slowly I drifted to sleep.
"Good morning wife" Nathan greeted as he kissed my hair and my lips.
"Good morning" I answered him.
"Rose, please pack your things, we are leaving for the castle" Nathan told me as he stood up to get dressed.
"Why, you don't want to stay here?" I asked him.
"I do, but I can't disobey father, just hurry up and pack your things" Nathan said, why was he in such a hurry?.
My maid help me bath and combed my hair in just a ponytail with bangs. I applied some paint on my lips and I wore a white knee length gown with black heels. I packed my things quickly as he had said with the help of my maid Rayna.
"My lady, I am going to miss you" she said and started sobbing.
I cleaned her eyes with my thumb and hugged her.
"Shh....don't cry, I would come back for you" I told her and let go of her.
I went downstairs to meet Nathan, he was ready and he was waiting for me. I sat on the horse and he sat behind me then we rode to the castle.
"Your majesty" we greeted as we bowed before the king.
"At least you didn't disobey in doing this one, I knew that only if I asked to you to bring your wife, only then you would come" the king said speaking of Nathan. We ate with the king and I was silent throughout their conversation. I would either nod or shook my head to any of the questions the king was asking..I knew I was being rude, I just didn't want to talk.
"You should go to your room, your wife looks tired" The king said speaking of me, my eyelids were heavy because I couldn't sleep well last night.
"Let's go" he said and we left for his room, I didn't even have time to admire the room, I went straight up to the red silky bed and pounced on it. It was just too soft and bright as it complimented my pale skin. I hugged the soft pillow very tight and Nathan chuckled as he watched his cute wife, his love, his everything. Nothing would make him hate her, Nothing, he might just be angry at her but he would never hate her.
He snuggled closer to her and fell in a deep slumber.
I opened my eyes and smiled when I saw Nathan at my side. I felt the bed again as I stretched my arms on it, just too soft. I looked around 'where are we?' I asked myself.
Then I remembered that we were now in the castle. His room was big and luxurious painted in all shades of gold and wine. It was twice bigger than our room in his house. I stood up and walked around the room, it was just so beautiful. All the paintings and furniture must cost a lot as they were just too beautiful, just like him anyway. I walked closer to the window and stared outside. I really wished that I was outside already.
I felt him hug me from back, "Nathan, you are awake?" I asked him and he nodded. I could feel his breath on my neck as it blew my hair sending hot waves of heat on my skin.
"Do you want me to tour you around the castle" he said as his chin was on my shoulder. I nodded and he pulled me out of his room.
