Chapter 16 - Sisterhood War, Make Pace With Each Other!

There were four trays of food with different styles and tastes in front of him.

Simon stared at his four sisters who were trying hard. He felt something fishy was going on!

"Simon, you must be hungry. Quick, choose one!" Jane urged.

After hesitating for a while, Simon asked with a smile, "Must I only choose one?"

"You can have them all if you can finish!" Lydia raised her beautiful eyebrows while replying.

Simon looked at their expressions. They were full of expectations.

There must be a conspiracy!

He looked at the food in front of him again. The portion on each tray looked small, but it was just enough for one person.

Simon touched his belly and estimated how much he could eat. Sure enough, he could only finish one of the dishes.

He swallowed his saliva.

Looking at the four dishes, if he had to choose one of them...

He would rather die!

Simon pushed the trays away and jumped out of bed. He faked a laugh, "I'm not that hungry. Hahaha."

Lydia said in surprise, "It's already one in the afternoon. How can you not be hungry?"

What? Did he sleep for so long?

"Yes, Simon," Catherine said worriedly, "Is your stomach alright?"

Simon had a bitter smile on his face. He walked to the bathroom awkwardly.

A voice in his heart whispered.

Run!

Otherwise, he would never get out of this!

With every step he took, the sisters' eyes followed. They were staring at him closely as if they wouldn't want to miss anything!

Their beautiful eyes were blinking with eagerness, "Eat mine!"

Simon felt uneasy. This was the first time he felt so uncomfortable getting free food.

He stopped at the bathroom door and turned around, "Well, I need to go to the bathroom. Can you guys go out?"

As soon as he said that, Simon sneaked into the bathroom and locked the door.

He didn't want to go, but he was waiting for his sisters to leave.

After a short while, the sisters realized that Simon was avoiding them. It was getting a little awkward, so they packed up and left dejectedly.

Simon was delighted.

Sure enough, the bathroom excuse was the most effective at all times!

He hummed a little tune as he swaggered out of the bathroom. Turning his body, he lied on the soft mattress. Then, he counted the cash reward that he had just received.

The system would give him 50,000 yuan every time the check-in target entered the house.

The system would only give him 10,000 yuan for the non-targets.

Simon thought happily, "If they check-in more than 10 times a day, wouldn't I become a billionaire soon?"

[ Unfortunately, each person can only check-in twice a day! ] The system explained at the right time.

As expected, there was a limit to the number of check-ins...

Simon asked, "Then, how can I get a large amount of cash?"

[ Dear host, the more target you set in the system, the more reward you will get from their check-ins. ]

[ Other than that, you may also get a large amount of cash by opening the Treasure Chest. ]

So that was the case.

Simon nodded his head. After understanding the rules, he shut down the system. He played with his phone and enjoyed his time alone.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere downstairs was not so pleasant.

In the dining room, the sisters were sitting at four different sides of the table. They looked at each other with dissatisfaction all over their faces.

Lydia complained, "It's just a meal delivery, why are you fighting with me? Great, he won't take anyone now!"

"You scared him," Jane said lightly.

Among the five sisters, besides the third sister Mary who was not around, Lydia was the only one who dared to argue with Jane.

She pouted and said unwillingly, "You're the one to blame. I was the first one to prepare food for him. It's all your fault!"

"He won't eat it even if we don't do so," Catherine said in a low voice. She whispered, "Greasy food is not that appetizing."

"Fourth sister, even you despise me!" Lydia said aggrievedly, "I've even told you Simon's secret. I will never be nice to you again!"

Seeing that Lydia was about to cry, Catherine realized that she had gone overboard.

Without pointing fingers anymore, she ran to Lydia's side and said, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that."

Elizabeth was confused. She asked, "What is Little Simon's secret?"

However, they were too busy quarreling to answer the question.

Elizabeth felt a little disappointed.

She was a psychiatrist. Thus, she was more sensitive than the average person.

After just one day, the sisters got to know their new brother well. They even knew his secret. She was the only one left out.

It was the same when they were preparing lunch today.

After taking a nap, she woke up to see Lydia making something in the kitchen for Simon.

Later on, big sister and fourth sister joined in as well. Her mother was cheering beside them.

With that, she joined the crowd and made something as well, despite feeling confused.

Then, she got rejected. In the end, she was sitting in the dining room, watching her sisters' argument.

The feeling of being excluded was unbearable.

"Alright, stop arguing!" Jane could not stand it anymore. She interrupted them and said to Elizabeth, "Little Simon's secret is that everything will be fine if one has a good mood."

Thinking that big sister was trying to comfort her, Elizabeth smiled and nodded. "Understood, big sister. I'll chat with Simon when I'm free."

The second sister was the most reassuring. Jane returned a smile and looked at those two who were arguing. She slammed the table and said, "Don't try to pressure Simon anymore in the future! Do you understand?"

"Alright, I'll deliver the meal later. None of you are allowed to fight with me!"

"What? Why?"

"Because I'm the first to know Simon's secret!"

Lydia puffed out her chest and showed off her overnight results to everyone. She felt extremely proud.

Jane rolled her eyes and said, "Stop it. Aunt will be back today. I'll get her to send it later. None of you should interrupt!"

"It's the same for third sister when she's back. Tell her that there will be no more vicious competition! Do you understand?"

No one dared to disobey the big sister's words. Catherine and Lydia answered feebly, "Okay."

"Great, let's dismiss. I'm going to the company. I'm skipping dinner tonight," said Jane as she took her crocodile leather bag, about to leave.

Lydia said in surprise, "It's so late now. Are you that busy in the company?"

Speaking of that, Jane was filled with anger. She glared at Lydia, "I wouldn't have fallen into the enemy's trap if you were here to help! Stop it!"

With that, Jane swung her purse and walked away in her high heels.

Lydia felt embarrassed and made funny faces while facing the door. Then, she went back to her room.

Catherine recalled that she had a mission at night, So, she went back to get ready as well.

Elizabeth was left alone in the dining room. She stared at her big sister who had just left. Then, she looked at her younger sisters who were fighting. With her beautiful eyes blinking with a gentle light, she said,

"Perhaps, I should make time to chat with our little brother too."
