AN(Im going to try out a little different style im going to try and write from Lins pov and hopefully you guys like it )
Lins POV.
"Hey Lin since you saved me why dont i ask my father to let you stay until you take the entrance exam at the academy" Zoey said. "If your father agrees than i would be happy to and if he does maybe you could help me learn about some magic". Zoey agreed to help him he did save her life after all.
As we arrived at Zoeys house i was amazed at the house....no i mean mansion it is so amazing i cant even describe it. Anyway we made are way to the door and we where greeted by a couple of servants. They welcomed Zoey home then we went to see her father. As we came into her fathers room he smiled seeing Zoey. When he spotted me he frowned and asked "Who is your friend here Zoey" her father asked Zoey then told him what happened in the forest and how i saved her then asked if i could stay awhile till the entrance exam. Hearing all this her father immediately got up and came over to me. "May i know your name" he said i responded "Lin Fei sir" he shook my hand and said "No please call me George you saved my daughter so please stay here as long as you like and if you need anything just ask". Just then a girl about my age came in the room "This is my sister i was telling you about she has a really high affinity for water magic and her name is Anna" Zoey said. Anna just looked at me curiously before asking who i was then her father went on and told her what Zoey said but.... he made me sound like some legendary hero. Zoey just giggled and said " Sorry my father likes to over exaggerate thing a lot take it as a sign he like you though.
Hearing what i did though made Anna grateful towards me as she offered to show me around which i accepted. "And this is your room i hope you like it and feel free to ask me anything you need to ok" Anna said right before she left. As i sat on my bed there was a knock on my door letting me know dinner was done. I came into the dinning area and spotted everyone here already. But right next to George there was a beautiful lady i assumed to be his wife. As dinner came to a end i got to know that Mary which is Georges wife and told them about my past adventures in the forest and i cracked a joke here and there. All in all i would say it was probably one of the best dinners id ever had before but by the end if it every thing that i had done today hit me and boy was i tired. Once dinner was done i directly went to my given room and passed out.
It has now been 6 months since i have come to Georges mansion and i decided to check my recent growth. "stats"

I have been practising my magic a lot and learned a couple of new spells. I have been honing my skills in the last 6 months trying to get as strong as possible before the entrance exam. The mage academy im trying to get into only has an acceptance rate of 3% and 100000 people try to get in every year. So in order to get in i have to work as hard as i can of course if i did not have the speed to train faster than normal people. Zoey said that she thinks im a nature born talent and her dad even offered to back me financially. I am really grateful to them i never had anyone like this in my past life so im happy to have it now. I will definitely make sure to pay them back for sure.
AN(i hoped you enjoyed this chapter and i think i will write with lins pov more it is a little weird at the beginning of the chapter but i think it will be better next chapter and thank you to those who are reading my novel peace)
