''The descendant of Chaos versus gods' legs''
The announcer said and Chaos looked at the middle aged man as if he was the devil.
'That damned announcer just said I will be fighting Hermes' successor?!'
Chaos thought to himself as he was trying to figure a strategy to beat a guy that can either be beaten by the second fastest gifted or a god.
''Why look so scared, kid? Have you never seen such a fast opponent as myself''
Gods' legs said and Chaos understood something.
'This guy is so full of himself. Now I have to beat him!'
''Evocatio chaos!''
Chaos yelled as he ran towards his opponent.
A blade of light started to conjure in his hand but it disappeared just as quickly as it appeared.
By the point the blinding light disappeared, Chaos was already standing in front of a narcissist in shorts that truly deserved a beating and chanted loudly.
''Kathréftis''
A mirror appeared in front of gods' legs and instead of running he just stood there, motionless.
God's legs was busy looking at his brown hair and blue eyes, he had no time to fight.
Too bad, Chaos also didn't have a lot of time but all his time was devoted to fighting.
Chaos chanted.
''Dei iudicium!''
And then hastily hit gods' legs with his palm.
God's legs' skin got dry and he died as a husk without water in his body in a few seconds.
''This the gods' punishment for the narcissist''
Chaos said and removed his hand from the recently dehydrated body.
''The descendant of Chaos wins''
The announcer yelled and there were many curses from the audience from people who lost bets.
Atlas watched that fight and was proud to know that the next leader of his tribe, without a gift, was able to achieve something that he was barely capable of doing with HIS gift. Kill gods' legs.

''Emma the fallen angel versus the one and only, gods' memories!!!!''
The announcer yelled and the crowd cheered like there was no tomorrow.
'So what did Danny say again?'
Emma asked herself as she tried to remember, and then she remembered the entire conversation they had before the fight.

Two hours before the fight.
''Gods' memories''
Danny said to himself as his eyes widened in realization while reading what the next fights were going to be.
''Emma, you know that I love you and that I will never let you get hurt, if it is in my power to prevent it, but I need you to not kill your opponent, he has a lot of information I believe to be useful''
Danny said to Emma with a tone that sounded like he was begging for his life.
''Fine, but if I do that. You have to promise me you will place me on your team next time we split. Do we have a deal?''
Emma asked.
''Yes, thank you. Mira told me about some of the dumb stuff you did when I was away and I can't believe you thought I would ever leave the world's best girlfriend. I truly love you''
Danny said and kissed her.
After that, he went out of the room and left there alone.
'Well... with your tendency to lie and to do everything you can for the goal. How can I know you are telling the truth?'
Emma thought to herself and sighed.

'Okay, so all I need is to beat that old man without killing him'
Emma thought to herself and then she lifted herself from the ground with her wings and started flying towards the old man.
''Desiderium''
Gods' memories chanted and Emma froze mid air.
''Oh little girl, if this was that effective... I guess even the young ones have their fair share of pain, I will let you feel good for a bit but after that, I will need to win''
Gods' memories said and sat on the air as if it was a chair.

''Dad I'm going to be at Danny's so don't wait for me''
Emma said as she was heading out the door to the castle.
''Wait just a moment. First thing, a goodbye hug to your father, please. Second thing, you know I don't like you being with that boy, with him being the son Lucifer and all''
Uriel said to his daughter.
''But dad, even lucifer is reformed now and he lives here in Eden with his sons like everyone else''
Emma said to her dad, trying to convince him.
''Sons... Oh right, Lucifer has his son, Marcus...iel, I think. There are a lot of girls around that boy but he is so unaware... Why can't you be with a boy with no devious thoughts just as Marcusiel?''
Uriel asked his beloved daughter.
''Because I don't like guys who are clueless to that level''
Emma said.
''Fine...''
Uriel said and sighed.
''Be safe, I love you''
Uriel said and let his daughter go.
''I love you too, dad''
Emma said as she headed out the door.
The moment the door behind her closed she started crying but she did not know why, there was nothing out of the ordinary to make her cry.
''Hey girl, why are ya crying?''
Emmas' best friend, Mira asked.
''I don't know''
Emma said and that answer was so stupid that they both laughed.
''So... Where ya going?''
Mira asked as she followed her friend.
''Danny's''
Emma answered simply and her friends' eyes widened.
''Are you finally going to do it?''
Mira said with excitement.
''I think so...''
Emma said.
By that point, they were both quite far from her home but then there was an explosion.
The castle was fully destroyed and in its ruins, there was Danny with brightly glowing purple eyes, he was holding Uriel by the throat and then he discarded and dropped Uriels' dead body.
Danny redirected his eyes and looked at her and then...
''Dad I'm going to Dan...''
Emma stopped mid sentence and her breathing became uneven.
''Hey sweety, what's wrong?''
Uriel asked as he embraced his daughter.
''I saw you die''
Emma said while crying.
''So it's like this''
Uriel said and smiled.
''This entire thing is the effect of 'Desiderium'. It is a spell that makes you live through your greatest dreams only until it hits you with your worst nightmare and then it repeats''
Uriel said.
''How can you know this''
Emma asked.
''This spell is sort of recreating reality and since the real me knew this information. I also know it''
Uriel answered.
Uriel then stabbed his beloved daughter in the guts and she woke up from the spell.

'He said, it will repeat, so I guess him killing me instead of waiting for Danny prevented it from repeating until I would just break'
Emma thought to herself while trying to make sense of what just happened.
She then flew and grabbed gods' memories before he could react and flew to a height where if he uses anything to try and negate her power, he will die from the fall. Even if he is a gifted.
''Fine, fine. I'll quit on my own. I yield!''
Gods' memories yelled and the announcer just barely heard him enough to be sure who was the winner.
''Emma the fallen angel wins!''
The announcer yelled and not many people cheered but not a lot of people cursed either, people stopped betting at this point.
Emma went back to the preparation room and saw Danny waiting for her there, one look at his purple eyes, and her breathing became uneven again.
She averted her eyes from Danny and asked.
''Can you go out and call Mira in?''
Danny looked confused but went to do as his girlfriend asked of him without question.
''Why did you ask to...''
Mira started asking as she went in but the moment she looked at Emma, she understood something was not right.
And so, day three of the tournament was over for the team.
