Chapter 32 - Min Yunqi’s bracelet

As Master Fu Rah walked up to them, she brushed off her clothes nonchalantly. "Well, that was a good fight boys. Luo, you just took out a True Foundation master and Hua, you made a plaything of the guy that got 'first' in the Summer competition. I am impressed as your sect master. Well alright, both of you can pick any one technique which I can teach you and once we are back at the sect, I will teach them to you and monitor your progress myself."

Luo answered "Thank you master. I will think about what I want and let you know by the time we are back at the sect." Hua then added on to it "Me..me too."

Fu Rah then took the lead again, all the while giggling to herself in glee "Ehehehehhe.~~~, see that Han Ryu, you bastard. My sect has two monsters in it." After a few more tricky maneuvers, they had reached the Dai Shan forest and were nearing the Qing province border.

After making them run for the whole day, she stopped near a small pond and bade them to make camp and rest for a few hours. "Rest up for a few hours, we will run non stop till we reach the sect come morning. Make sure to keep up with me. I can't drop my pace to a turtle's pace like the both of you. Now who wants to eat the Sect master's exclusive handmade food?"

Both of them nodded to her and waited near the fire after they made some comfortable sleeping places with a bed of leaves and put their cloaks on top of it. She unwrapped some of the supplies, some dumplings which had gotten cold by now and started to heat them directly on the fire with a smile on her face.

Luo looked to Hua and whispered "Pretty sure, you don't cook or heat dumplings like that. She's burnin–", and with a snap Fu Rah looked towards them and said "Did anyone say something? Anything about burning? HMMM???"

They both swallowed and nodded no, vehemently. "Good, they are almost done. Now you can eat them. Your friends would be so jealous if you said that the sect master herself made food for you, wouldn't they. Hahahaha…. Maybe I should throw a party and cook a lot myself. Now there's an idea."

Luo and Hua did not utter a word and ate the dumplings which were burnt from the side with the stuffing still cold inside. Hua could barely palate it but Luo ate them with a smile on his face thinking 'Well, it's awful, but it's one the best meals I have had in my life.' he then slapped Hua on the back and said "Gulp them down, aren't they so good Hua. Hahahahaha"

They then rested for a while while Fu Rah slept with her back to a tree, half alert for dangers and half resting like some warrior who was very used to this kind of situation. Hua slept soundly trusting in his instinct to wake up if something was wrong.

Luo sat on his 'bed' and then after a few moments took out the wooden bracelet that the girl Min Yunqi had given him. He looked to see that Fu Rah and Hua were not paying him any attention and put some of his Chaos Qi in the wooden bracelet like Min Yunqi had asked him to do.

The moment he had done that he could see fragments of memories, like the one the Master Yin had shown him earlier. Only in these memories, he could see out of someone's eyes as if he were that person.

Some memories were that of the daily life of the person with a woman who had purple eyes, brown hair that sometimes burned red in the sun, an ample bosom and a small mouth. Her face looked similar to that of Min Yunqi but Luo could see that something was off; this person's 'assets' were much more pronounced than that of Min Yunqi, but he could see that the eyes were exactly the same.

In these memories he was called Luo Gong and the woman's name was also Min Yunqi strangely. They were both married and were living in a floating tower they owned. Luo Lianhao had no time to be surprised as his mind was full of just living those memories as if they were his.

The tower was owned by Min Yunqi who was a very powerful figure in what was apparently a star field that comprised multiple planets like the one Luo was currently living on. Memories of these things called the higher realms and star fields and cultivation levels beyond what was even known or comprehensible under the heavenly laws of this planet; such knowledge was there casually strewn about in these memories but somehow when he tried to access such memories, all of these parts were blocked out.

Master Yin was watching everything in these memories as well, even before Luo had seen it and had put restrictions on things that were not common sense for this lower realm, so Luo Lianhao was not able to access such memories. All he could see were the other memories where such things were not mentioned.

In such memories, there were some steamy ones with Luo Gong and Min Yunqi doing the deed, and Luo Lianhao was red with embarrassment and immediately skipped to the next ones. He basically lived through a very long life, a couple of hundred years of memories of this person called Luo Gong and a strange thing was happening to Luo Lianhao's psyche.

These memories and the passions in them, barring the memories that master Yin had blocked, were so intense that they were trying to overtake Luo Lianhao's reasoning, his current life, his current mindset and were trying to override it with Luo Gong's memories.

Master Yin then popped up in his thoughts and said "See, this is the kind of stuff I don't like. This life of your's is a new one, so you should just live it like that. All of this override and crap is not cool in my books."

When Master Yin was done saying this, the pressure from these memories started fading and Luo could now resist the pressure as well. He immediately put up his soul wall technique and the memories were now something that he was watching as if it was a play, a very immersive play.

In these memories, Luo Gong and Min Yunqi were very much in love and living together in the tower that was owned by Min Yunqi. She was a great alchemist and a great fighter as well, something that a lot of master's seem to crave. They tried to woo her over by vulgar displays of wealth and power but she had them on her own and was not interested in such things. She was someone who had come up to that position by her heaven defying destiny although she was born as an orphan.

The only person who did not seek anything from her in her life and only gave of himself was Luo Gong, even from a time when she was not as powerful. She slowly fell in love with Luo Gong and him, her. After she secretly married him in an intimate wedding, the masters who were trying to win her hand were incensed to see that she had married an average man without much talent or power or means.

This is why she had built a flying tower that could travel around without being tied to anything. And Luo slowly grew stronger thanks to Min Yunqi nurturing him with the best elixirs and pills and heavenly treasures that she had found. She gave him almost all of the best things without keeping much for herself even though Luo protested against this.

Luo Lianhao could not see much of what happened during their journeys in the tower after this, but in one of the last memories, he could could see that the tower was now a veritable flying fortress that was improved to such an extent that he could barely recognize it from the previous memories.

In this memory, Luo and Min Yunqi were flying in the air surrounded by what looked like masters from a host of different species. The tower was burning and broken and the damage was extensive. He could also see that the ground was red with blood and carcasses of various monsters and masters, probably from the offensive on the tower. Luo Gong and Min Yunqi were relatively unscathed till then.

Another memory flashed and in this, Luo Lianhao could see that Luo Gong had lost his left arm and was scarred all over and wheezing blood while standing on the ground facing some 10 masters of various sects. Luo Lianhao could not focus on their features very well (This was the doing of Master Yin, but Luo Lianhao did not know that).

The rest of the host of enemies that Luo Lianhao had seen earlier were dead or dying. Min Yunqi was also hurt badly, her eyes were bloodshot and a few stab wounds on her torso. But Luo Gong could feel that she was doing better than Luo Gong was and he was glad for that.

One of the masters spoke up "Well bitch, I told you that I am your destiny and not this average nobody you picked up and fed with so many pills that I can even feel the side effects from this far away. What, did you want to make him strong with just pills and hope that it would be alright? That he could bear the pressure that would come from being your destiny? Don't make me laugh."

He then proceeded to hold her up by her hair and dragged her around to where Luo was wheezing blood. Luo raised his right hand to focus and execute some sort of a Qi blade technique, but even before he could do that the master raised his leg up like a pole and then brought it down, lightning fast for a kick on Luo Gong's head. He fell down and where his head hit the earth would slowly form an impact crater, almost a kilometer wide and that too after Luo had canceled out most of the technique with his Qi. he spat out blood and then flew out of there to where Min and the other guy were standing, at the precipice of the crater.

When she saw him, her bloodshot purple eyes started to overflow with tears and she began to wrestle herself away struggling so violently that she tore her hair out that the master was holding. Her long hair that Luo Gong loved and would always brush and set a jade pin in on sleepy mornings was now disheveled and messy and ripped apart by her own force.

The master started laughing "Wow, I did not expect that. I thought you would attack me, but I did not expect that. Is this what Looovveee~~~ is? Hahahahaha"
