"Why do you think you have been betrayed, Gakio?"
Kae-chul asked him after they tried some idea of Gakio that involved octopuses and squids. He was now cleaning up after, and must have remembered his life as a fisherman from these creatures, thus remembering his past of being betrayed.
"I believe it must be because the king knew I was far too honorable." He rubbed his stomach after a yawn. "I have told you before that I was made to commit suicide for the crime I was framed with. If I was not honorable, I would not have done it."
"Ah, yes. Everyone believed that you deserved your death, despite all that you have done for them. All the wars you have fought to protect them from enemies. You and I are almost the same." Kae-chul sat back beside him after cleaning, his eyes seeming to have a distant fisherman's look.
