Xendros counted his days in the dungeon. Since no light can ever reach him here, he could only count the change of the days by how many times Maelle delivered him breakfast.
Maelle brought him food from who knows where, possibly stolen from homes or perhaps maybe even ordering people to cook for him. The thought unsettles Xendros a little, but they really have no choice.
He stays in this dungeon, unharmed, until the injured Noble Huntsmen were healed, and they have prepared a concrete plan on how to deal with the Vampire Lords.
Xendros still wants to resolve this peacefully and find a way to transform the vampire lords into humans again. It felt impossible, but it was his only hope. And........
