Thora awoke with a sore and trembling feeling over her body. Where was she? She looked around her and was shocked when she saw Winters familiar face sleeping next to her in bed; when did she get into the bed?
Thora felt the disorientation strike her, she had no recollection of how she ended up her.
Winter blinked a few times and winced a little when her eyes met Thoras. "You're awake!" Winter mumbled and sat up. "Yes... But how did I end up in here? Where are we?" Thora whispers, and Winter could feel her confusion.
"We are at Dragonfly. And I don't know where you were, but one of Thamus men brought you in here. You were in a very bad condition, so, I bathed you last night and dressed you and put you to bed." Winter spoke in a severe tone. Thora blinked a few times, trying to remember; but it was black.
"I can't remember anything, but thank you. But you shouldn't done that, Winter; I'm suppose to take care of you." Thora whispered, making Winter sighed, "Stop that! I will continue to do it until you can do it yourself!" Winter stated. "I'm gonna go and see if there is any food somewhere," She then added and left the bed.
Thamus heard Winter mumbled something and then she entered the room moments later. "Good morning," Thamus uttered a little gray, "Good morning," Winter replied and stopped to look around. "What are you searching for?" Thamus asked, "Something for Thora to eat," She replied. "I will have food sent up," Thamus said, and then left the room in a hurry.
Winter frowned while looking at Thamus back as he left the room with quick steps.
This was a very odd situation she was in indeed. She first believed that he would violate her, but then he started teasing her in a romatic way, only to intimidate her the last moment. Then he brought Thora to her; and now he was passing up on her, but he felt more distant.
"Gaaah!" Winter growled, frustrated by this overall situation she was in.
"Winter?" She heard Thora calling her name and she hurried into the other bedroom.
Thamus sighed when he closed the door behind him. Winter looked a little puffy from last night crying, and he had an urge to embrace her; something he did not want to feel. What was he even doing with her?
His men already questions his actions, and he needed to have a solid plan they would accept. And now he had the other girl locked up in his chamber as well. Thamus shook his head.
"King Thamus?" His servant spook in a low voice and bowed. "Yes, send up supper for three," He demanded, and saw Argon coming his way through the hall. "Argon, you look a little puzzled?" Thamus stated, and Argon sighed. "Did you know the other royals from Gold Coast arrived at the Keltons kingdom yesterday?" Argon spook in a low voice.
"Go on," Thamus said, "One rider saw them arrive, and he had a feeling something was up. He has been following King Grian's moves the past months. He rode the whole night down here to alarm us. Apparently, Grian was furious when the princess wasn't with her family." Thamus narrowed his eyes.
"But he doesn't know she's alive yet?" Argon frowned at his reply, "What are you thinking, my King?"
Thamus smirked, "I have wanted to take down the Kelton's since they burned down my old life; and now I know exactly how to do so." Argon smiles, " The princess?"
Thamus nodded. "Yes, she's the perfect bait to bring him here." Thamus replies, and saw his servant coming with the food. "I will find you later, Argon," Thamus said and nodded before the servant came up to him.
"You're food," Thamus said upon entering the room. Winter stood up and took the brick from his hands, "Let me," She mumbled and Thamus felt his heart flutter when their fingers touched for a brief second.
Winter brought the brick to the table next to Thoras side of the bed. Thora sat up and leaned her back against the wall.
Winter reached her a piece of bread and they ate in silence. "I will be back tonight," Thamus uttered a little distant and left the room.
"Who was that?" Thora asked and Winter raised her eyebrows. "That's Thamus... The King Of The Brigades, and the wolfman.." She said and bite her lip... "Excuse me?" Thora uttered confused, "I thought you said the wolfman?" Winter nodded, "Yes. It's him. I saw it with my own eyes," Winter whispered. "What? What did you see?" Thora asked, "We had a dispute and he got mad at me, and I saw his eyes turn black and then black hair appeared all over his face." Winter said quietly, making Thora gasp in shock. "That's madness..." Thora whispered. "What does he want with you?" Thora then asked, and Winter shrugged. "I don't know... But it can't be something good, right?"
