On Grouday, after our check-up routine, we properly celebrated Shino/Yanmega's breakthrough, which was a good way to pass the day. The next day started my last week at the orphanage. While the month itself only went until Palkiday, I would be staying/working at the orphanage until the end of my Kyoday shift. Due to that, I organized the meeting with my own orphanage staff and the first batch of orphans to be on Grouday.
Ultimately, the final week passed similarly to the previous ones, and on Kyoday evening I left the orphanage for good. The kids were reluctant to see me go. Not only because I was great at entertaining them, but also because they would miss being able to play with my Pokemon.
Regardless, now that the orphanage phase was over, the next phase was the nursing home one, and for this phase, I had to be in Emerald City on Arcday. However that would happen later, right now I was making my way to Hope Town since I had to meet my employees here the next morning at 10 a.m. I made sure to inform my Pokemon that evening that our routine Grouday check-up would be postponed to Grouday evening since I would be busy until somewhere between 5 to 6 p.m.
The next morning I left our house at 9:30 a.m. and made my way to my orphanage. I greeted the security guards, and shortly after I made it there, Penny arrived as well. Leon Schnitzel joined us just a minute later, and since we still had around 25 minutes until 10 a.m., I began to tell them about the orphanage. The tour would have to wait until the others had arrived, but telling them about it verbally was no problem.
I also told them about my plans for the future. Well, the Pokemon and crafting-related ones. Both Penny as well as Leon were impressed and shared that they found the idea great, though they also mentioned that they were worried about the expenses such an undertaking presented, so I told them about the preparations I had made, and that at least the Pokemon aspect would take another year or two.
While we were talking, more and more employees arrived, but aside from greeting us and one another, they silently listened to our conversation. The last employee arrived two minutes before 10, and since everyone was already here, I decided to directly start.
I first greeted them all once again before bringing them around for a tour of the orphanage. Well, the cooks decided that touring the basement, ground and first floor was enough since those were the places they would go around at most. In that vein, the gardener Mr.Avery, and the teacher couple would not need the whole tour as well, but they joined anyway which was good.
After touring both the inside as well as the outside of the orphanage, the 4 cooks, along with the 6 housekeepers and the two handymen, went out to go shopping for everything they needed to fully stock up the kitchen as well as any other supplies they needed in general. I also made sure that they brought diapers, infant wipes, feeding bottles, and a batch of baby milk of the high-quality kind, which was slightly diluted Moomoo Milk since the pure one was too much for human babies.
There would be 10 babies among the orphans joining us, with the youngest being 5 months old and the oldest being 10 months old, so it was necessary to be prepared. The shoppers came back a bit past 1 p.m., and after sorting everything out, the cooks prepared a quick lunch for everyone. Following that we did a last quick check and sweep of the whole orphanage in preparation for the kids.
Shortly before 3 p.m., the security guards informed me of the arrival of a bus as well as three transporters, so I led Penny and the caretakers outside to welcome the children as well as the government staff escorting them. The kids came down from the bus, while the town personnel brought the baby carry cots out of the transporter.
I had the 8 regular caretakers along with the 2 handymen carry the 10 babies inside and transfer them to the baby cots that were prepared for them. Meanwhile, we led the 30 children inside and brought them to the large playroom. While the others occupied the children, Penny, Leon, and I finalized the transfer of the orphans with the town personnel. The transfer went pretty smoothly and funnily enough the administration workers asked for autographs from both me and Leon.
After sending them off, the three of us joined the others in the playroom, and we officially introduced ourselves to the children. Following that, we spent an hour talking to the children before we showed them around the rooms that they needed to know. Places like the canteen, playroom, class/reading room, lavatories, and bathrooms, along with their own rooms as well as the rooms of the caretakers in case they need help.
We also brought them out to the backyard and all the kids showed excitement when they saw the playground and the large green area to run/play around on. We let them play there for a while and before long it was dinner time, so we led them to the canteen. Once the kids had settled down, I thanked everyone for their future service before leaving the canteen together with Penny and Leon.
We moved to Penny's new office, and I gave her the bank card of the account I had opened for the orphanage along with the other information related to that account. After talking for a few more moments about the possible expenses and the limit that I was okay with, I left the orphanage. I made my way back home, and from there I moved inside Utopia.
Everyone was already waiting for my arrival and they happily greeted me as soon as I appeared. We had our dinner before I began our routine check-up as previously agreed upon. Halfway through, while checking Seb/Nidoking's status sheet, I saw that he was done with his limit-breaking phase, so I congratulated him on his success, though as usual, I requested him to wait until I was done with the others before we went through with his breakthrough.
I then finished his physical check-up and moved on to Gaia/Nidoqueen. I had to admit that I had a certain expectation during her check-up, but that fell through. After Gaia, I worked my way through the rest as well, and even though a lot of them were at the precipice of a breakthrough, none of them had taken the last step.
Anyway, once the check-up routine was over, I made the announcement over UtopiaFM. Afterward, we made our way towards Seb and Gaia's place. We gave the non-team utopians some time to come over before we started the pre-breakthrough tradition. Fortuna/Togetic and I wished Seb good luck before joining the others.
Seb then initiated his breakthrough upon my signal, and the whole breakthrough process went quite smoothly. Once his (high) dark gold undulations spread, I went up to him together with Gaia and we congratulated him on reaching the dark gold stage. I could feel our bond upgrade to deep as we talked, and when the others rushed over to congratulate Seb as well, I went ahead and took a look at his new/updated status sheet.
'Name: Seb
Species: Nidoking
Gender: Male
Age: 13+ years
-
Type: Poison, Ground
Potential: Deep Purple (90.21%)*
{Deep Purple (8.72%) -> (10.21%) -> (90.21%)}'
Seb's potential had come really close to the next grade, and while filling the gap would take me twenty-plus years, his next breakthrough was guaranteed to finish it for me in hopefully less than a decade. I was confident that it wouldn't take him or the other dark holders that long, at least not with my full support, but I didn't want to provoke any interference/disaster by being overconfident/arrogant.
The next few sections remained untouched, with no changes to his abilities, modifiers, talent, or affinities, so I shared the news of his boosted potential with Seb to whet his appetite for the next stage before continuing to check the rest of his status.
'Parameters:
Stage: Dark Gold Stage (high)*
Vitality: C
Strength: B
Endurance: D
Agility: C
Energy Capacity: C
Energy Density: D'
I had already felt our bond advance to a deep one, and his undulations had revealed that he was starting at the (high) dark gold stage. His starting parameters actually directly pushed him to the vanguard group right past quite a few of those who broke through before him, at least parameter-wise since some of those he passed had talents that made them display a higher prowess than Seb could.
Anyway, I also took a look at his type relations and ended up being pleasantly surprised since it appeared that his breakthrough managed to push his water resistance training to completion.

Resistance:
Poison (Major), Fighting (Minor), Bug (Minor), Rock (Minor), Fairy (Minor)
-
Weaknesses:

We had been working on that one semi-regularly for more than 3 years, and I had honestly believed that it would take a few more before we were done. Yet, his breakthrough had taken care of that for us, and now that he had standardized his water weakness, he only had two of his original 4 weaknesses left.
Still, we'd probably take a break from any further resistance training for the next year or two since that was what we had agreed on before starting the water round. I was fine with him taking a break if that was what he wanted since he had more than earned it.
Naturally, I directly shared the good news with him, and Seb was really happy to hear about it. The others congratulated him on that and some teased him by telling him how jealous they were of his luck since resistance training was pretty much the least like training method as far as all my Pokmeon were concerned.
Anyway, after sharing the good news, I finished looking through the rest of his status, and after making a mental note to focus on Venoshock next as far as his move training was concerned, I declared the start of Seb's celebration.

The next morning, I left Hope Town at 6 a.m. in the morning and headed to Emerald City for my first day of work at the Nursing Home I had been assigned to. I arrived at the footsteps of the place at 7 a.m. and reported my arrival at the reception. Someone then came over and explained to me what my working hours would look like as well as what my work was going to entail.
Thankfully, my workweek for this phase was only 5 days long instead of 6, though the work hours remained the same, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. When I inquired about my housing, John straight up told me that I had to take care of that myself. It seemed like I would once more be staying inside Utopia, but I honestly did not mind. I mean, why would I? I had a fully furnished mansion there.
Accommodation aside, John gave me the nursing home's weekly schedule, along with a work schedule that listed which rooms/individuals I had to take care of. Since this nursing home was apparently a military-backed one, the residents were largely disabled or retired military personnel.
My duties changed from resident to resident and ranged from delivering breakfast/meals, bringing/pushing those weak or unable to walk to the cafeteria, and similarly pushing those residents to certain activity rooms. I was also going to be assigned duties during these activities, which ranged from recreational activities such as singing to therapeutic ones such as massaging or playing memory-stimulating games.
There was even a period where I simply had to listen to a resident talk or converse with them. All in all, the work was rather "busy", but at least I was doing something nice.
