The day Mikail called Rose, Weiss, and Ace to arrange the meetings with them.
Location, Seafoam Islands; POV, Weiss.
I put my phone down after finishing the conference call with Mikail and Ace. Talking with those two always put on a smile on my face because they always managed to do or say something that I found amusing, and I genuinely liked spending time with them since it was never boring with them around.
We always had something to talk about even if most of the time the topic was connected to Pokemon, which made sense since all three of us aspired to become trainers, especially Mikail.
His passion for Pokemon was through the roof, and his knowledge regarding all things Pokemon was astonishing. Sometimes I wondered how he managed to cram all that stuff into his head and still find the time to train himself and his Pokemon.
I mean the amount of Pokemon he had was really high, so them being as strong as they were seemed unbelievable. Honestly, he had more than triple the amount of my Pokemon, but a majority of them were as strong or stronger than my strongest, and I was supposed to be the heiress of the Schnee family.
That was seriously extraordinary and I had not told my family about the full extent of his abilities, not even to my parents. I simply did not want them to make any special requests regarding our friendship, which the elders of the family would no doubt do.
To me, that would hurt the genuineness of our friendship, and I didn't want that. I was honestly happy to have him and Ace as best friends, so I was not going to do something that would put that at risk.
I was planning to keep his full capacity to myself at least until our friendship had solidified even further. At least our relationship should prove itself under the test of time as well as distance, and I did not doubt that it would do just that.
I had no intention of letting the distance strain our friendship, and I was sure the others felt the same. The fact that we were talking weekly and writing to each other nearly daily in our private chat group, was proof of just that.
Anyway, we had agreed to meet up on Dialday of the last week of the vacation, and I did not doubt that the first term at our respective trainer schools or academies would be a major point of interest.
Well, at least Ace and my first term would be. We already knew what to expect from Mikail's first term since we went through the same before he did. Still, the interesting bit from Mikail's side would be the things he did with all his free time. I was interested to hear about his one-on-one sessions.
As far as my first term was concerned it was pretty different from my time at the academy. Of the regular classes I used to have, only "Language", and "Math" remained unchanged.
"Geography", "History", "Material Science", "Ethics", and "Biology" were adjusted to have a trainer and Pokemon-related focus. "Chemistry", "Physics", "Music", and "Art" were taken out of the curriculum or in the case of "Music", and "Art" became optional classes with a focus on Pokemon as well.
"Pokemon Knowledge" was divided into multiple subjects like "Tactics", "Care", "Training", and "Identification". As for "Physical Education" it had become more intensive in preparation for our time in the wild.
Still, due to the influence of our Schnee family, there was an obvious bias towards ice types in nearly all subjects, so my experience was definitely different from the one someone would get at a regular trainer school.
I was sure Ace's experience would be different as well due to his academy being focused on the navy and marine rangers. At least that was the impression I got from the bits and pieces that came up during our calls and our texting.
I was really looking forward to our meeting in four weeks, and I was curious about their reaction when they heard that Jinx and Lopunny had reached the silver stage. Additionally, Spheal had also broken through to the bronze stage.
The day Mikail called Rose, Weiss, and Ace to arrange the meetings with them.
Location, Bluetiful City; POV, Ace.
I put my phone down after finishing the conference call with Mikail and Weiss. We had agreed to meet up on Dialday of the last week of the vacation. It would be nice to see them in person once more.
While we were talking to each other weekly and writing to each other nearly daily in our private chat group, it just couldn't replace talking face to face with someone.
It was always amusing for me to see the subtle nuances in Weiss's exchanges when she talked with Mikail, which was something that had emerged in the last few months of our third year.
However, both seemed oblivious to the fact that Weiss had taken a liking to Mikail. I had a lot of fun seeing the signs and watching them both fail to notice them. The fact that both Weiss and Mikail were otherwise extremely sharp made the whole thing much more amusing.
Hmm, now that I think about it, our mothers might have noticed it as well with their special mother senses, so I might not be the only one in the know, but I had seen no signs that supported that idea.
At least I didn't notice anything that indicated otherwise during our last family get-together on Mikail's birthday. I was curious to see when Weiss, as well as Mikail, would notice the situation, and who would notice it first.
Still, enough on my favorite rom-com. I did not doubt that our first term at our respective trainer schools or academies would be a major point of interest during our meeting.
Well, we already knew what to expect from Mikail's first term, but Mikail said he was taking some one-on-one sessions with a few teachers, so I was interested in hearing more about that, especially his weapon training.
Hearing about Weiss's first term would be interesting as well since my lessons were different from those of the regular trainer school. So, her lessons were the closest thing we had as a reference to the education system of the regular trainer school.
Still, even her lessons were a bit different from the norm due to the focus on ice types, at least from what I had understood from our exchanges over the phone.
Nonetheless, Mikail had mentioned that he was going to meet up with Rose a week before our meeting, and I knew that she had started going to the trainer school this year as well, so he could tell us about her experience for comparison's sake.
Rose was another potential candidate/actor for my personal rom-com, so I was interested in seeing the future development of that situation as well, even if I was personally cheering for my favorite female lead.
Now, as far as my first term was concerned, it was pretty different from my time at the academy. Of the regular classes I used to have only "Language", and "Math" remained unchanged.
"Geography", "History", "Material Science", "Ethics", and "Biology" were adjusted to focus on marine aspects, with the land-bound elements being mentioned on the side.
"Chemistry", "Physics", "Music", and "Art" were taken out and replaced with subjects like "Navigation", which was not the same as "Geography", but a complimentary class based on geography.
"Fundamentals of Seamanship" was another class that was exclusive to the navy. "Pokemon Knowledge" was divided into multiple subjects like "Tactics", "Care", "Training", and "Identification", which were more focused on marine aspects, and water as well as ice-type Pokemon.
As for "Physical Education" it had become more intensive in preparation for our time out in the sea. There was a major focus on our balance and our leg strength.
Well, all in all, I was looking forward to our meeting and the face the two will make when I told them that Mienfoo had reached the silver stage and evolved to Mienshao.
The day Mikail called Rose, Weiss, and Ace to arrange the meetings with them.
Location, Orchid City; POV, Rose.
Hmm, after hanging up I told mom that I had agreed on meeting Mika on Dialday in three weeks and that he would be coming over to Orchid City. She was happy that Mika was coming over for a visit since we hadn't seen each other since his birthday, and I was just as happy.
I was really excited about meeting him. There was so much I wanted to tell him about everything that had happened since his birthday. Trainer school was very different compared to regular school, there were fewer boring classes and more interesting ones.
I was especially happy that I didn't have to go to "Physics", and "Chemistry" classes. It would have been even better if I could have gotten rid of "Math" as well, but it seemed there was no escape from math.
Mom said math will show up everywhere even in the future so I had to reluctantly accept it even if it was boring and hateful. At least I only had to suffer through it once a week instead of twice.
I choose to keep the music lessons since Mikail told me that I could use music to help my Pokemon relax and motivate them. Mika told me that real music could be like a superpower on its own, so I decided to keep up my practice with the ocarina and the violin.
The legend of Meloetta that he told me was awe-inspiring. A legendary being attracted by the sound of a grand performance full of soul, and then blessing the ones performing the music sounded unbelievable, but I believed him.
When he told me about that I decided that I wanted to become that good as well, just like the girl in Mika's story, or the girl in the legend that moved Lugia with her music. That way, once I reached that level, I would become a legend just like I'm sure Mikail will become one in the future.
My other classes were all altered to focus on trainers and Pokemon. There were also a few new classes that focused on stuff trainers did or had to know especially new ones.
However, I noticed quickly that many of the things they were teaching during the lessons were stuff I had already heard about from mommy and daddy or Mika.
This meant that I already knew a lot of the things we were taught this term. Nevertheless, the lessons were still interesting enough. Umu, they were a thousand times better than math.
Still, I was looking forward to learning things that I did not know yet. I was especially interested in the occasional trips to Pokemon farms that our teachers had announced.
Yep, I had a lot to tell to Mika, and I was really curious how he was going to praise me when he heard that Ivy/Eevee had reached the bronze stage just like Princess/Vulpix.
A day before the meetings with Rose.
Location, Rota City; POV, Mikail.
It had been a few days since I handed over my work to Mr. Cameron and the academy. I had not received any word until now, but that was to be expected. It had to go through multiple reviews and its authenticity had to be confirmed.
Besides that situation, there was some slight progress on Eggy's front. It was not much, since I could not go all out with my supplements before Eggy's body matured enough, but every step until then was important.

The first goal has been completed, so for the duration of June the lowest number of advanced chapters available is 4, while the highest number of advanced chapters is 8. Those want access to them can find them on my patre*on.
If the second goal gets fulfilled, the lowest number of advanced chapters available will be 6, while the highest number of advanced chapters will be 10.
There are currently two ongoing polls on patre*on. One decides the future of Horus/Xatu, while the other one decides to which Pokemon Haven he will have access to Togepi or Riolu. Both will finish by the end of the week, so those that want to take part in the poll can consider becoming patrons.
Help me stay motivated.
