The next day I decided to visit the Flying as well as Battle Club since the day after was the weekend and I did not want my other Pokemon to complain that some of them got to fight while they didn't. So, I spent Dialday clubbing as well.
I visited the Flying Club first. My alias, Yuno, only had Xatu and Pidgeotto available, since Mothra and Butterfree already fought for Meruem. Still, that was not a problem since Yuno was still a Bird Keeper, which was the first rank, with two wins, so the battles were 1 vs 1.
I had them both fight two times, with Xatu giving his opponents the grace minute. Since Pidgeotto was still at the iron stage, even though she had broken the first limit, her fights were not as easy.
Obviously, she still won, because we fought against genuine Rookies and not some strong newcomers. I mean seriously the only way for me to lose a battle at this level was in a fight against someone stronger. After increasing my winning streak to 6 I left for the Battle Club.
Seb, Gaia, Nyx, Teddiursa, and Cubone were the ones that were assigned to Satoshi my Battle Club alias. Named after the OG MC of the anime in honor of his deeds.
Satoshi or Ash had saved the world so often that it wasn't funny, his Pokemon fought and bested legendaries at least those in the anime, but my boy didn't get any recognition and couldn't even win a league for some reason. Him being the Champion of Alola is meh.
They may have done him dirty by f***ing with his journey and definitely the league tournament, but his name in form of my alias was going to be a Battle Club legend.
Even if I chose to someday in the far off future discard my anonymity, I was going to ask them to keep me registered as Satoshi for the Battle Club.
He may have started out as an idiot but he definitely deserved better by the end of his first region. Not to mention that they kinda "sidelined" him for a b***h.
Anyway, my little rant aside. I was still a first-rank member, a Page, but already had 7 wins, so I needed 8 more to rank up to Squire.
This meant that since everyone was going to battle twice, four of them would most likely battle Rookies with iron-stage Pokemon, and only one of them would get to battle trainers with bronze-stage Pokemon.
Cubone was definitely not the one since he was at the iron stage himself. I asked the other 4 to settle it among themselves and ironically it took them longer to choose the winner than it took them to win their battles.
In the end, Nyx won whatever they did to choose the lucky one, so yay for her I guess. During the first two fights I used Cubone and he won them both. Cubone's fights were actually the more "interesting" ones.
When we called out our Pokemon at the first fight, what appeared on the other side was a Pidgeotto. I looked at the girl in front of me and saw that she looked happy when she saw Cubone as if she had already won.
Now, as the nice guy I was I knew at that moment that I had to help her. Apparently, no one had told her that her Pidgeotto was only safe from ground types as long as it did not get hit. So, out of the good of my heart, I had to show her the error in that.
Not to beat her but to help her become a better trainer. So, I had Cubone send a Mud-Slap in Pidgeotto's direction not to hit it, but to block its vision through the mud.
While its vision was blocked and its trainer was distracted by our in her opinion useless move Cubone sent out his club in a Boomerang. The club moved in a curve and hit Pidgeotto who did not see it coming from behind.
While Pidgeotto was falling and the girl was shouting Cubone ran towards his falling foe, got a hold of his club once more, and began using Bone Club before Pidgeotto could recover. Before the girl could shout out some orders for her Pokemon to counter her poor Pidgeotto got knocked out.
The second trainer was pretty unfortunate, he called out a Pikachu. Now, Pikachu was a pretty fast Pokemon, so I made use of the fact that it couldn't use its electric moves against us.
The only way for Pikachu to harm Cubone was to attack directly, so until it decided to come closer I attacked it with Mud-Slap and used moves like Growl, Leer, Tail Whip, as well as Focus Energy.
I did not believe it had any moves that could be dangerous for us, but nothing short of a Surf would save it. Actually, I was not sure if Pikachu could learn Surf but even if it could I did not think that just anyone could get his/her Pikachu to learn it.
Anyway, seeing no other choice Pikachu's trainer finally told it to use Quick Attack. I just told Cubone to tank it and counter with Bone Club. What followed was predictable and Cubone actually managed to knock Pikachu out in a single hit.
The rest of the Page fights were pretty short since I did not come across any wolf in sheep clothing. Teddiursa, Gaia, and Seb all won their fights pretty easily.
All of them tried to give their foes the grace minute. The most interesting battle among those had been against a Tauros that Teddiursa had to fight.
I have no idea where the guy got a Tauros from and he didn't want to share it with me when I asked him, but it was kinda funny seeing a roughly 60 cm tall adorable Teddiursa beat up a 1.7 meters tall and nearly 3 meters long Tauros.
Charm, Play Nice, and Brick Break came in pretty useful for the fight. Sweet Scent was pretty useful too with it making Tauros a bit more sluggish than it was which made attacking and dodging a lot easier for Teddiursa.
Anyway, after their fights, I officially became a Squire. So, Nyx had to participate in a 2 vs 2 fight and since she would be fighting against two Pokemon I decided that one battle would be enough. The others also only fought two Pokemon after all. Lapras didn't count.
Before I was called for the match, I saw Jessica, or more like she saw me and approached me. We talked for a bit, I learned that besides her Ekans she also had a Chansey and recently caught a Lickitung.
I obviously asked her where she got her Chansey from and she said she received it for her outstanding performance at the nurse/nursing school. I thanked her for telling me about it even if it did not really turn out useful for me.
She told me she was still a Page but had already amassed 89 wins, so it wouldn't take her too long to rank up. I got called over the speakers and said goodbye to her.
Nyx's fight was not that interesting and she won without too much difficulty against the opponent's Dodrio as well as Primeape. After the fight, I returned home to just talk the rest of the day with my Pokemon.
The weekend was spent with my parents and I decided to explore the coast starting next week. I had spent enough time at the beach I had found and chose to continue walking along the coast to see if I could find other interesting places.
I spent the Arcday and Mewday doing just that but did not come across anything interesting. On Giratiday something fantastic did happen but it had nothing to do with my stroll across the coast. No, I noticed that Jade's potential had increased to deep blue.
She, Drake, and Medusa had been the closest to a potential increase, so it was not a total surprise but very welcome nonetheless. Drake and Medusa were also about to upgrade their potential, practically only missing a sliver for it to happen.
The next important event happens on Dialday. Roughly three hours after lunch I came across a stream that actually had two Feebas swimming in it. I instantly checked their potential, but it turned out pretty bad.
Nonetheless, I chose to believe that where there was one there had to be more. This was probably what the sailor I had talked to meant when he said there are some Feebas somewhere along the coast.
Since the flow of the stream was headed in the direction of the sea, I chose to follow it to its source instead, in the hope that I would find more Feebas there.
I followed the stream for more than an hour and saw 5 more Feebas during that time but none were good enough. I actually came across a point where the stream split in two, one going in the direction I came from the other one heading west.
However, the plan was to find the stream origin, so I ignored the split for now. It took me roughly another 30 minutes to arrive at the lake the stream seemed to originate from.
After checking my watch I saw that only had 30 minutes until I had to go home, so I made sure that there were Feebas inside the lake, before leaving for home. I planned to come back after the weekend to check out all the Feebas.
On Arcday the next week I returned to the lake to check out the Feebas. I spent the whole day carefully combing through the lake for any Feebas I could find.
Naturally, there were not only Feebas in the lake, but I still found more than 300 of them by the end of the day. Sadly the best one had only deep yellow potential, so none of them qualified.
I left the place disappointed that day but still returned the next day to do a double check just in case I had missed one. Well, to be frank, I was sure I had missed some. The double-check was in case I got to check one I had not managed to check yesterday.
So, I ended up spending the whole Mewday checking the lake again. Yet, I found no one worthy even though I managed to check out a few more Feebas than yesterday.
I had no choice but to write off the lake. My next step was to go to the split point and follow the stream westward to see what I would find at the other end. Naturally, the hope was to find some more Feebas.
That was what I did on Giratiday. I had Xatu bring me to the lake, ran towards the splitting point of the stream, and from there followed the stream in the western direction.
It actually took me nearly 4 hours to reach the end of the stream. During that time I saw and checked 8 Feebas which gave me hope that I would find Feebas at the other end.
I ended up standing at a semi-enclosed bay just 30 minutes before lunch. The stream flowed into the bay, which was connected to the sea. As for its form it was kinda like this, -C, with the mouth being pretty narrow.
The inner area of the C was filled with water and the - connected to the C's back was the stream flowing into it. A brief look inside the water luckily showed some Feebas, so instead of directly diving into it, I called out everyone for lunch to get that out of the way first.
Once everyone had eaten, I placed them back inside the space, so that they could do their training while I was searching for a Feebas. While I was doing that I noticed that QueenBee had actually completed her first limit break.
This meant she was ready to evolve. That being the case, I entered the space as well after everyone was inside and told them about the upcoming evolution.
I took out all the materials I prepared for this case and once everything was set up I gave QueenBee the go-ahead. She began to shine bright like a diamond as soon as I gave the signal.

Everyone congratulated her and I gave her some well-deserved praise as well. Her status screen came up as expected. Her potential had gotten an increase thanks to the things I had prepared, she learned Harden as all Kakuna do and her ability Run Away got replaced by Shed Skin.
Being able to get rid of status conditions was much more useful than knowing when the best moment to escape was together with a short speed-burst while escaping, at least in my opinion.
She used to be Food-focused when I caught her something that came from her time in the wild, having to go hungry sometimes and all that, but during my care, she lost that which was good. It showed that she believed in me.
We celebrated her evolution a bit before I left to check the Feebas at the bay.
