It had been a week since the PokeEgg situation happened.
He had remembered the next day to check out the Magikarp egg and compared to the Vulpix egg he couldn't see the potential of the egg yet.
It said that the potential was currently in flux, it seemed the potential of the Vulpix had already settled but the one of the Magikarp was not determined yet.
He did not know how long it took for the potential to settle but since it normally took Magikarp eggs 3-4 months to hatch, he assumed that the potential would settle in 1-2 months.
Mikail had succeeded in increasing his range to 50 meters during this time and he decided to finally stop focusing on telekinesis.
He decided to focus on his telepathy instead because he had neglected it a bit.
After not advancing despite his success with his telekinesis he concluded that he needed to advance in both paths to reach the First-Class and after taking a look at his knowledge he saw that he was right.
He had decided to take his knowledge as a reference because he wanted to try it on his own.
That did not mean he was not using it, because he was, but he mostly looked at it if he couldn't afford to learn it on his own or if he was stuck.
An example of needing the knowledge would be ballcrafting, where he had to follow the steps to the letter but for his psychic training, he could be more liberal.
Anyway, until now he had managed to progress enough with his telepathy to transfer his own thoughts and feelings to a single person.
He also could read the surface thoughts of a single person without any problems, but he did not manage to access any memories.
His goal was to increase the number of individuals he could simultaneously use his ability on and that's what he did for the next few days.
He would occasionally check up on the egg as well.
While checking up on the egg on the 5th day, he decided to put a few dragon lilies in the area around the egg.
He wanted to see if the nesting area would turn the dragon-type energy inside the dragon lily mild like the energy in its environment and if the egg would absorb the energy as it did to the energy in the atmosphere.
To his delight the energy of the dragon lily was indeed turned mild by the nesting area, so he had to observe if the dragon-type energy still harmed the egg.
If it did he would naturally remove the lilies, but after the energy turned mild he was 90% sure that his plan would work.
The next day he check 5 times but no negative impact could be seen.
His telepathy on the other hand had a small breakthrough.
He, finally, managed to connect to 2 minds at once.
Not only that Mothra manages to achieve full sapience on the same day.
He did not know if it was his constant use of telepathy or her training with Confusion that did the trick but it was a fact that Mothra managed to achieve full sapience during the (high) iron-stage, while Butterfree generally achieve the same at the (low) silver-stage, which means Caterpie would theoretically need even longer.
Yet his Mothra had managed to do something like this.
When he told his parents about Mothra's achievement they were speechless.
After they recovered, they extensively warned him to not mention anything about Mothra's achievement to anyone else.
They were even more serious while talking about this than when they talked about his psychic ability.
When he asked them why they were so serious, they said that many people would try to steal/get Mothra if her achievement got out somehow.
While the Caterpie-line Butterfree included, were not really considered rare Pokemon, a Caterpie that managed to do what Mothra did would be really sought after because this undeniably proves that her talent and potential are extraordinary.
After listening to their reasoning he agrees with them.
They obviously still celebrate Mothra's sapience but Mikail decides to tell everyone not to mention it to the outside, even to Rose.
During the next day he also checked up on the egg 5 times but still, no negative impact was noted.
For the next 3 days, he reduced the number of checks per day to 3.
The result was still the same, with no negative impact whatsoever, so Mikail decided that the process worked for now and reduced the number of daily check-ups to 1.
On the 10th day since he started to focus on his telepathy, he succeeded in checking out 3 minds at once and it took him another 3 days to increase that number to 4.
As soon as Mikail managed to use his telepathy on 4 minds simultaneously, he advanced to Tier 1 First-Class psychic and unlocked minor psionic energy manipulation.
His advancement caused his space to grow once more and after it stopped growing he saw that his area had doubled in size, but the house stayed the same.
The productivity was also increased to 7 materials per week, but that was not all.
Mikail also noted that he could access the knowledge of the 5th Pokemon stage.
The 5th Stage is the Dark Gold Stage and it corresponds vaguely to ~LV 150-249.
The Dark Gold Stage is divided into low, mid, and high grades as well.
Low-grade vaguely matches ~Lv 150-189, mid-grade matches ~Lv 190-229, and high-grade matches ~Lv 230-249.
Trainers of the ACE-Class and Elite-Class generally possess Pokemon of this stage.
The main Pokemon of ACE-Class trainers range from low to mid-grade, vaguely matching the LV 150-199.
The main Pokemon of Elite-Class trainers on the other hand range from mid to high-grade, vaguely matching LV 200-249.
Afterward, he checked up on Magidraco as well as Magiflora and observed no negative reactions.
Happy with everything that happened he decided to relax for the rest of the day.
He focused on his minor psionic energy manipulation for the next 8 days until he managed to form psionic energy into a small dagger and controlled 4 of them at once.
When he checked his status, he noted that his own battle prowess had become equal to that of a (low) bronze-stage Pokemon, which should allow him to see the stage of Pokemon up to the (mid) silver stage.
That being the case, Mikail decided to check up on his parent's Pokemon once more, to see if he could now see the stage of some more of their Pokemon.
It took him 3 days to check out all of them because he had to wait for Pidgeot and Crobat to come home but in the end, he managed to check them all.
To his surprise, he managed to see the stage of all his mother's Pokemon, including Sunny and Star that he had already seen before.

The first thing he noted when he checked her, was that Titania's potential had increased to light blue, which was a pleasant surprise.
After he was done with her Pokemon, he noted that his mother currently qualified for the Senior-Class as a trainer, but that she was still registered as a Junior-Class trainer.
He knew that she had not upgraded her class despite apparently qualifying for it, or at least he had not heard anything about her updating her trainer profile since her retirement.
Mikail was sure his parents would have talked about it at home, if that had been the case, at least they would have before they started seeing him as a great genius.
The status of his father's Pokemon were a mixed bag compared to his mother's Pokemon because he still couldn't see the stage of 3 of his Pokemon.

Species: Growlithe

Potential: Light Blue
Stage: Silver-stage (mid)'
Nidorino, Crobat, and Pidgeot were the Pokemon whose stage he still couldn't see and he also noted no change in their potential, but his failure to see their stage meant they were at the (high) silver-stage or higher.
He had already noticed beforehand that Growlithe's potential had reached light blue, which brought the number of light blue potential Pokemon his father had to 3.
Mikail also noted that Magneton's potential had been promoted to green.
If he sorted his father's Pokemon after their stage, then he had 3 unknown stage Pokemon, 3 (mid) silver-stage Pokemon, and 2 (low) silver-stage Pokemon.
This meant that his father was not far from qualifying for the Expert-Class as a trainer and after experiencing firsthand how long it took to train Pokemon, Mikail could honestly say he was impressed by and proud of his father.
The man had managed to train his Pokemon to this stage despite being relatively young himself.
He really was MC/SC-character-worthy.
Four days after he finished checking out his parent's Pokemon, Caterpie reached the (high) iron stage.
After everyone congratulated Caterpie Mikail fell deep into thoughts.
He was wondering if he should let Caterpie evolve now or if he should wait until Caterpie was ready to break through to the bronze stage.
In the end, he decided to allow Caterpie to evolve right now, so he told Caterpie that he could stop suppressing his evolution and evolve to Metapod.
Caterpie started to cheer even more before he started to glow.
Mikail put a few heaps of Silver Powder, a few Tiny Mushrooms, and a few of his other bug-type materials around Caterpie so that he could absorb some of their energy during his evolution to hopefully increase his potential.
All his Pokemon had surrounded Caterpie and were watching him, even the Magikarp swam to the surface of the pond to observe the evolution.
Mikail could see how huge amounts of energy appeared around Caterpie and formed a fake cocoon.
It took about a minute for the evolution to finish and at the end, a larger than average Metapod stood in the place where previously a Caterpie had been.
All his Pokemon cheered for Metapod and Mikail walked towards him to hug him.
He congratulated him a second time, this time for his evolution and his Pokemon swarmed them to congratulate Metapod as well.
At least the ones on land did, the Magikarp produced a few bubbles and withdrew deeper into the pond once the evolution ended.
Once, the hug like dissolved again and everyone calmed down, Mikail collected the remainder of the materials and checked out Metapod's status.
'Species: Metapod
Gender: Male

Talents: None
Affinities: Bug/Growth

Mikail carefully looked through the status screen.
He was a bit disappointed that Metapod had not reached the deep green potential during his evolution, but the materials were not wasted because he was only missing 0.8% for a promotion.
He also noticed that only one of Caterpie's abilities changed to Shed Skin upon evolving into Metapod and that the other ability remained.
In the games, Metapod only had Shed Skin available as an ability and he was happy that the ability-change here was a bit more logical.
The rest was the same as it had been before the evolution, except for the move section.
The move Harden had been added there, so Metapod apparently automatically learned the move on Terra as well.
He was happy with what he saw and patted Metapod.
To Mikail's wonder, Metapod informed him that he still felt the itch of evolution, which meant he could still evolve to Butterfree despite having evolved to Metapod just a few minutes before.
Mikail told him to wait until he reached the bronze stage to evolve again and Metapod agreed.
He left his space after spending some more time with his Pokemon.
That evening his parents told him that his father had taken off the next Dialday and that they would visit Rose and her family over the weekend.
They would set off at Dialday morning and would return on Grouday night.
He simply acknowledged that while anticipating the trip.
It would be his first trip to another city.
