No idea if it was the progress of the Slytherin Trio yesterday, or if it was the pullback of adrenaline after a night of sleep, but I got a lot of claims of wholeness the next morning.
I was quite surprised since I had not expected a few of those that spoke up to reach that point for at least another few months, even taking the tide into account.
To be honest, I had thought it would be Jade/Gyarados that would give me some good news this morning, after having gone through a satisfying night of sleep since she was the only member of the Slythering Six that had yet to reach the (high) gold stage, now that the other three had advanced
Yet, she had said nothing in that direction, even after everyone had gathered together due to the commotion caused by so many saying they felt ready to break through.
Still, like always I began to check their status screens to confirm whether their impression was true or not. I started with Mars/Ursaring, but sadly it seemed that he was not done with his limit-breaking since he still had two parameters that had to reach SSS. That was also what his status looked like the last time I checked it, so for now, nothing had changed.
I told him as much, and while he was a tad bit disappointed, it was not too much since this was not the first time something like this happened, so my Pokemon were already used to this. Still, Mars was only missing two more steps before he was at his goal, so he would be ready soon enough.
Nonetheless, I moved on to Parvati/Beedrill and looked through her status as well. However, I was honestly ready for the next bit, and I ended up being right. Parvati was not ready for her breakthrough too. I mean, she used to have only two SSS parameters up until yesterday, so her claim had been a bit farfetched.
Yet, surprises did happen occasionally, and we did go through a small war yesterday, so I thought why not. Besides, it was a matter of a few seconds, so if one of my Pokemon wanted me to check their progress, I would have done so anyway, potential extra progress due to aftereffects of a war or not.
Still, even though she did not miraculously complete her limit-breaking, she did gain a third SSS parameter, so she was officially halfway through her final round. Parvati was both happy and disappointed at the news. She was happy to have made progress but disappointed that her feeling had been wrong.
Anyway, that left me with the last two claimants, Shino/Yanmega, and Enji/Arcanine. I left them for last since they had been the closest to actually finishing their limit-breaking, so out of the whole bunch, it was their feelings that had the biggest chance to be true. I went up to Shino first, since he had only been missing two more steps to breakthrough.
Well, he did make progress, but unfortunately, he still had to raise his energy density to SSS before he was done with limit breaking. When I told him that, there was no disappointment to be seen. Shino looked determined instead and straightaway took off to train.
I yelled "don't take it too far," after him, and asked Luna/Clefable to supervise him since she could heal and if necessary stop him. After watching Luna skip after Shino, I went up to Enji.
He was the only one among the four who had only needed to raise one more parameter to SSS to be done with his limit breaking, so I was pretty sure that he was the one that actually could be right, which is why I left him for last.
A quick check later, I learned that he had in fact not finished his limit breaking. Enji still needed to raise his energy density to SSS. Apparently, he let himself get dragged into the atmosphere by the others and joined in as well. I had to chuckle when he admitted that, and pat him on his head.
Still, I made sure to encourage him since I was pretty certain that him finishing his limit-breaking was just a matter of moments that could happen at any time. After my encouragement, he took off right after Shino since both needed to train their energy density. I saw no reason to send someone after him since I was sure that Luna could handle them both, and I meant that training-wise.
Anyway, after handling all four claims, I began handing out everyone's breakfast, the two trainees and their supervisor included. Only after that, did I go downstairs for breakfast with my parents, and once I was done with breakfast, I made my way to Rota City, more specifically the order's HQ to report the success of my missions.
After entering the castle, I made my way to the mission hall and went straight to the mission desk in the junior section. I handed over my member's card, and as soon as the words mission report came out of my mouth, the clerk at the counter I went to gave me four documents, one for each mission I took. He told me to come back once I was done filling those out, before shooing me away.
I went to one of the tables and took one of the pens on it to fill out the papers. Instead of writing down and copying the same thing 4 times, I decided to write the full report once for mission J160139, the investigation mission, and then reference that report on the other documents.
I began writing down the entire/essential event flow from my departure from the order until the departure from the area upon completion of the mission. I filled the front as well as back of that one document to fit everything on it, despite writing as tiny as possible and leaving out the unnecessary bits.
On the second one, that I designated for the capture mission, I referenced the first document by noting its mission number J160139, before writing down the number of Ekans and Arbok I was going to hand over. The capture mission had asked for 10 Ekans and 4 Arbok with the only restriction being a minimum of 2-star potential.
I captured 86 Ekans as well as 12 Arbok throughout the whole trip, and 8 of those 12 Arbok were even at the silver stage. I could have handed all of them over to the order, but I had taken a fancy to 4 of the Ekans and 1 of the silver stage Arbok due to their potential.
I had let them all out inside my Utopia house to tell them that I would be handing them over to the order, and they had gone through the optimization while I did that.
I decided to keep the Ekans that had his potential raised to light blue, along with the ones that attained deep green potential. I mean, since I had already captured them, there was nothing wrong with keeping them, right? Regardless, due to that decision, I wrote 82 Ekans and 11 Arbok on the mission report.
On the Shed Skin's mission report, I wrote that I would be handing over all 47 D-Class Arbok Shed Skins I acquired along with 2 of the 8 C-Class Arbok Shed Skins. I kept 6 of the C-Class ones since I was planning to use part of the order points I was going to earn along with some money to commission the creation of protective undershirts using those Shed Skins.
Honestly, the venom mission was the only one I did not keep something back for myself. Not that I could even if I wanted to since I had only gathered the amount necessary for the mission. Nonetheless, I went back to the same counter to hand in the reports once I was done.
The clerk looked them over and I saw his eyebrows rise when he looked through the investigation one. Still, he did not make any comments and scanned them into the system before putting them away. Only after that did he turn back to me.
He told me to go to Delivery Room 4 to hand over both the Pokemon as well as the materials, and that someone would join me there to verify the validity of my reports.
I thanked him and pulled out the map booklet before following it to the room that sounded like it belonged to a hospital. Still, I did make it to the room and they were already expecting me, so I directly began pulling out the stuff I had to hand over.
Shortly before I was done offloading everything, another person joined us in the room, who I suspected to be the living truth detector, but she waited for us to finish before she came up to me.
Pauline introduced herself as a Tier 4 Senior Aura Guardian and she confirmed that she was here to ascertain the validity of my mission reports, or rather the investigation one, seeing how I had handed in the stated amount of Pokemon and materials. After all, once the investigation mission was proven true, the source of those materials would be ascertained as well.
She called out a Lucario and a Medicham before she had me narrate the whole mission flow from start to finish. She did occasionally ask a question to verify or expand on something, but she mostly simply listened to me. It took a while, but I went through everything, and once I was done, she simply gave me a nod along with a slight smile before saying that we were done.
After that, she simply left, and I could hear the staff inside the room chuckling a bit at my perplexed look. I mean she did not explain anything and simply left after saying that we were done.
In the end, one of the laughing staff told me that this meant that she had verified the truthfulness of my report and that I should have been accredited with my rewards by this point. Both order point-wise, as well as monetary-wise since they had recorded/registered the number of items I had handed over.
I quickly took out my phone and logged into my order account to check my order points. I saw that he was right, and a quick check of my bank account confirmed that the money had arrived as well.
Seeing how I was done with everything mission report related, I asked where I could talk to someone regarding the undershirts I wanted to commission, and they told me that I had to head to workshop no.3 for that. I thanked them for the info before I followed my map to workshop no.3, which was luckily only a few minutes from there.
I had to join the queue since there were a few people before me, but thankfully it took only 6 minutes before it was my turn. Explaining what I wanted, resulted in me being directed to another person, who was apparently in charge of what I desired.
Ko, that was the guy's name, asked me to take out all 6 Shed Skins and examined them for a moment before asking what size I wanted the undershirts to be, and what gender the wearer had. I gave him dad, mom, as well as my size, and he told me that it would only take 2.5 skins to produce the undershirts for the three of us, so I gave him what I estimated Rose, Jessie, and Erza's sizes to be.
The reason I chose those three was that I had to prioritize due to only having limited resources and that the others belonged to either pretty rich and/or influential families or clans. Those three were the only ones among my close friends that did not belong to such a group. Well, aside from Kinji. However, my boy Kinji was already a Champion-Class trainer himself, so he was kinda somewhere between the two groups.
Anyway, Ko told me that the addition of those three would still leave me with a whole Shed Skin, so I ended up giving him Kinji's size as well. That left me with close to 30% of the last skin, but I told him he could have the rest for a price reduction. He knocked off 15% of the order point cost for the skin.
I ended up paying 100k Poke along with 52 order points, which was a major part of the points I managed to earn after those 4 missions. Still, I had heard that the order did some of the best protective gear out there, so I still paid for everything and gave Ko my contact details so that he could inform me when the undershirts were done.
