Emma was now a 22 year old woman, living an ordinary and simple life. Even though the company that she works for sucks and the pay was terrible, it was still enough. At least it helps her have a roof above her head and food to eat.
Over the years, things changed a lot. Her parents died in a car accident , leaving her alone and heartbroken. She misses them so much. Even though they had a hard time accepting her, they still loved her. They never forgot to sing her lullaby and kiss her goodnight, always comforted her with a hug when she cried, always made sure to remind her that they loved her, always made her a birthday cake on her favourite day, always made her feel loved. Thinking about them always brought a tear to her eyes. It took a long time for her to accept reality and move on.
Things also changed when she couldn't see the things that she could see before. For a long time she was able to see the supernatural but then in a blink of an eye it stopped. It scared her at first because she has seen them for a such along time that it felt unnatural not seeing them. But after some time she embraced the change with open arms.
She lost her unnatural sight after the incident that took place in her class when she was six years old. That was an incident she wishes to forget but couldn't, even though she tried really hard to forget. The man still invaded her sleep. He was her nightmare.
She prays and hope to never meet that man again. But little did she know that fate has other plans for her and sometimes fate can be cruel but it can also have the best intention.
