Evo's POV
"I am going to talk to the manager," Andrew said.
"No need, dude," I said.
We stood beside our cars, parked side by side in the parking lot. Fortunately, the guard didn't notice what Kaycee did. I simply assumed that was what the man intended to say. We felt a sense of relief, but Andrew jolted us back to the previous events. He insisted that he wanted to speak to the manager.
"Of course, it is necessary," Andrew said. "You need to take the attempt on your life seriously," he said, looking at Bella and Kaycee. "Come on, let's go talk to the manager."
I couldn't do anything as Andrew returned to the restaurant, followed quickly by Kaycee. I took a deep breath and then glanced at Bella, who I didn't know was staring at me.
"Your cousin is right," Bella said. "Let's go. Let's make a complaint."
