When Erica wakes up she suddenly realizes she is in the hospital. Her mom and dad are outside with people with uniforms. First she couldn't analyze what's going on neither does she remember what happened but then it suddenly started coming back to her. Oh my God Nick what has happened to him, why is he murdered and started to sob loudly.
Her parents notice she is awake and come rushing in to the room and starts smothering her, saying everything is going to be okay, everything is going to be alright and her mom is hugging tight. She is so glad that her parents can be here for her right now. After all the crying and the hugging were over, she started to come back to herself.
Her mother Alicia a strong willed politician known for her hard looks says to her daughter "Honey, the detective wants to have a chat with you. Is that okay?" Erica replies "yes, now is okay." Her mother informs the detective that they now can talk with Erica and quietly leaves with her husband.
As soon as the detective walks in to the room the first thing Erica says is "I want to know what happened".
