"What happened next priest? And what were Princess Maridol's reasons? " Agaton asked.
"No one knows her reasons Agaton. Maridol did not reveal to anyone as to what compelled her to take this steps. Maridol gave birth to a boy after five months. Warren was so very happy, Maridol did not care for the child she was only happy about all the powers she's going to get. Warren named the child Kisas." Agaton and Meddy tilted their heads to look at King Kisas.
"Mariam congratulated her friends for the blessing that they got. Kisas attracted the king's trident at his first birthday celebration. Mariam noticed this and she knew that the king of the blue sea they have all been waiting for had come, but she couldn't understand how it happened when a lot of mermaids and mermen tried hard to give birth to the king of the sea but they all failed. Even very powerful mermaids and mermen came together but they also failed, so she asked herself as to how the combination of Warren and Maridol pulled this off, by the way Maridol was an ocean mermaid even though she was the princess she still wasn't that powerful to bear the king of the blue sea."

"Sir, this Maridol lady I remember seeing her at Hermon's birthday party. I always get furious everytime I see her. She is always around father in law during functions and whenever she is around mother in law disappears. Now I know that father in law and Michael are mermen." Ezrine said to the old man.
"My dear, you are right that woman is Queen Maridol, as for the reason why you usually got furious every time you saw her, you will remember that as well. Don't you recall seeing King Kisas?" The old man answered.
"No I don't remember seeing someone like him." Ezrine answered the old man's question.

"Mariam decided to use her magical knowledge as well as seek help from sorcerers to find out the mystery behind that encounter. Every magical being from the netherworld got surprised at hearing about as they thought it was impossible for a mermaid and a merman's union can result in the king of the blue sea. No one had the answers to Mariam's enquiry. Mariam was so helpless she even thought of giving up, but just like her pride she refused to give up on getting to the bottom of this matter. Mariam later that day in the evening, she created a storm so strong that no magical being can put it out only the trident of King Kisas could. She wanted to see if Maridol was truly King Kisas's mom or not. Her eyes took their Serpent form and her vision went into the sea to see what was going on."
"Mariam was surprised when she saw Kisas touching the trident and Maridol lifting it up to stop the terrible storm. Mariam couldn't believe her eyes and what Mariam did not know was that the storm she started almost costed Kisas his life as he almost suffocated when the sea was making a lot of big waves. After Warren and Maridol learn that it was Mariam who started the storm that almost took their son as well as their King away from them, they ended their friendship with the serpent Queen and her world. Warren felt betrayed by Mariam's action when he thought they were like siblings, Warren's words to Mariam had hurt her so much that she brokedown and she fell weak."
"The next day at night Maridol and Warren visited Mariam, she tried apologising thinking that they weren't angry with her anymore. But that wasn't the case, Warren went there to tell Mariam that he doesn't want to see any serpents close to his mermen and mermaids. That caused Mariam to be at her weakest emotionally. When Warren chose to go back to the sea, Maridol stayed behind. She told Mariam that she had lost to her, she told her that Mariam was foolish to target Kisas which made her task easier. She told Mariam that she succeeded in separating her and Warren. Mariam was so weak that she had a hard time breathing and processing all of those things. Maridol kept on boasting about how great she was, when she left she gave Mariam a smack across her face and she told her that she knows that she is so weak that she could not fight back and Maridol left Mariam on the ground as she burst into tears which brought a huge laughter to Maridol. That is how the hate and enmity between serpents mermaids started." The priest concluded the story.
