"Coconut what is it?" I teased trying to be playful.
"Honey I just don't understand how can Matilda be this stubborn. She knows I have never differentiated between her and Michael" I could see the helplessness in Hermon's eyes.
"She is your younger sister , you must talk to her calmly and tell her your real feelings and try not to shout at her that much. She loves Glen what could possibly go wrong?"
"Honey you don't understand , there is something about that guy that just makes uncomfortable around him ."
"What happens?"
"My body start itching and I suddenly get angry for no reason." Hermon's condition was just like mine so I thought we needed to know more about Glen , he's way too mysterious to be a normal human being.
I felt like someone was listening us but by the condition my body was in , I could tell that it was Glen. I had a hard time hiding my scales from Hermon. Had it not been for Hermon's presence I would have taught Glen a lesson to remember because now I was more than sure that he was a magical creature.
As soon as he left I suddenly felt cold , this coldness felt like I was inside an ocean during winter. I scanned the room to find Hermon but he was on the other side of the bed sleeping. I couldn't help but to wonder how Hermon able to move that fast after the cold air intake.
It was afternoon and Hermon was sleeping soundly I didn't want to disturb him so I took off the connective watch he gifted me on my birthday. I went out and did some gardening and kitchen work. No one was there to help me , Meddy was on a quest , Hermon was sleeping and Mrs Smith was occupying Mr Smith while he was still on leave. Michael and Matilda went out for ice cream. Speaking of Michael I think I should decorate his room I know for sure that Meddy and Michael haven't consummated their marriage so they deserved a little bit of fun.
"I'm back sister" I could hear that it was Meddy from my back as she was whispering. Suddenly I felt the hot air and my scales started revealing themselves and I knew that Glen was there eavesdropping again.
I stopped Meddy from saying anything useful so I distracted her and she understood what I was doing. One thing that impressed me the most about Meddy was that she was able to understand me without me telling her what to do.
We kept talking nonsense until he left his spot. "What did you find out?"
"Nothing, I was unable to to find out anything about this Glen Frank fellow. it's as if he never existed."
" I think he's a magical creature just like us but I don't think he's a serpent."
"Then what is he Ezrine?"
"I'll have to wait for the night of the lunar eclipse, I will get extra powers to recognise this deceiver."
"We will have to stay alert until then sister Nogapele."
"I know and I know very well how we can keep an on him."
We looked at each other and moved toward the blue mansion and I found Hermon serving breakfast again and Mr Smith joined us yet again. "Honey and Meddy come and have breakfast" he invited us.
"Coconut did you prepare all of these?" I asked teasing him.
"Yes , my dear Honey" he responded cheerfully.
"Are you sure you didn't ask the chef for help?" I continued asking because I was impressed by his mood despite Glen and Matilda being present at the table.
"No , here take a bite" he said feeding me his dish and it was very delicious. I felt like eating the whole bowl but I wasn't a fan of sea food. He prepared this dish so well that it didn't even taste like sea food at all.
"I can't eat my own creatures but I guess I don't have a choice" I heard someone whisper in his or her thoughts but I couldn't recognise that voice. I've never heard anyone talk in this voice before. I could have said it was Glen but Glen's voice does not sound like that. But then who was it? I wish I knew how to use my powers maybe I could have recognised the person.
we ate the breakfast and I tried to see who was hesitant but all of them ate normal and they complemented the food. Plus it was the first time that sea food was prepared.
After breakfast I went to Meddy's room to decorate it and I did. All that was left to do was to keep her distracted the whole day.
