I just sat there, blinking at what was in front of me for some minutes
"Mwoya?" what is this? I asked Ji Sung
"Breakfast" he replied calmly
"Breakfast? All this? Are we going to war?" he asked
"Trust me, you don't want that to happen"
"True. Geunde, this is too much" but
He took the chopstick at my front and placed then into my hands
"This is what we have as breakfast, it's even way smaller than what is eaten by others. Have a bite and the food will be gone before you realized what is happening"
"Meaning I'll devour it. Right?"
"Bingo" he said, snapping his fingers
"Mani meogeo" eat up he said, and started eating
"Jal meok-ge-seum-ni-da" thank you for the food I muttered before joining him
I signed in satisfaction as I leaned against my seat
Ji Sung was right. The only thing I remember was my eyes widening after the next bite, and after I knew it I wondering looking around the table, wondering where all the food went to
"I was right, wasn't I?" he asked
I was too full to talk, so, I just nodded
He smiled
"Told you"
I smiled back at him
A yawn passed my lips
"I'm sleepy" I announced
He leaned back against his
"Let's go" he said
"Back home?" I asked
"Sounds good"
Ji Sung chuckled
"Soo Joon-ah, I didn't bring you out for just breakfast" I said
"Ah, so we aren't going out separate ways yet?" I said, although it sounded more like a question
"You said that statement as if we won't see each other ever again, someday"
I shrugged
"We are in our last year of high school"
He stood up
"And I have no plans of cutting off any means of communication, our friendship, in any way" he said
"Get up" he said
I groaned as I leaned further into the seat
"I don't really feel like getting up now. Why don't we stay for like an hour, or so?"
"Do you know the best way to digest food?" he asked as he reached over and took my hand
"What?" I asked
"Walking and moving around" he said, bringing me up to my feet
"That's not true" I said
"Really? What is it then?" he asked
I shrugged
He laughed, guiding us back to Ahjumma
"You're going?" she asked
"Ne. Thank you for the food. I was amazing as always" yes he said
"How much is it again? I've forgotten"
"Why?"
"To pay"
"Nonsense. Why would you okay?" she asked
"Ahjumma..."
"Just make sure you come back again, okay?"
He insisted on paying, but she was adamant, so he just agreed
"Sure, sure. You can do whatever you want then" she said
We pleasantly said goodbye and left
"Then, I'll make sure to come back. And I'm going to pay then"
"So... What now?" I asked when we were out
He checked his watch
"Well, we just have to find what to do till six?"
"Why till six?"
"Because we're going to watch a movie then" he said
He put his hand into his pocket and brought out two movie tickets
"I'm not sure. Watching movie is kind of..."
"We're going to be watching Quantum Physics"
"Should we head over to the cinema now?" I immediately asked
He chuckled
"Jam-si-man" wait a minute I started, stopping both of us
"Mwo?" what? he asked
"Does this mean that I have to be with you till six? No, after six?" I asked
"Well, you don't have to come. I can just go alone, or even, find someone else to go with" he said
I glared at him
"Don't worry. The sun will still be high up in the sky by then. We're still in spring after all" he said
"I should never have told you I like Seo Ye Ji" I concluded
"I wouldn't argue with you about that" he said
We continued walking
"Where are we going now?" I asked back
He stopped in his tracks and turned to look at me
"Do you know the best place to go after eating a full meal?" he asked
"Uhm, the gym?" I suggested
He shook his head
"Ani. A place of games" no he said
"Eh?" I asked
Without saying anything else, he smiled as he took my hand and continued walking
We walked for a while before entering a building. I gasped as I entered
"Daebak" amazing I said
"What is this place?" I asked him
"An amusement arcade" he said
"Whatever it is, I love it" I said before running to the nearest machine around me
"You look as if it's your first time in a place like this. Don't you Americans have?" he asked with a chuckle
"I don't know if they have or not, but I've never gone there" I said checking out the machine
"Jinjja? How is that possible? Wae?" really?... why?... he asked
"Geunyang" just because... I dismissed
I turned to him and brought out my palm. He looked at my palm, then at me with questioning eyes
"It needs coin"
"And so"
"I don't have any with me"
He reached into his pocket
"Why don't you?" he asked as he placed the coin into my palm
"Because someone dragged me out of my house" I said
I placed the coin where needed and was about to play, before I remembered something
"Ah, I'm not an American, so don't put us in the same pronoun" I said
"Oh, really? Alexa?"
"My dad is just an American"
Maybe he cut up on how I said the dad, he let it go. He just gave me a smile
"Do you know how to play it?" he asked
I stalled for a while trying to keep a straight face. I finally burst into laughter
"Ani, I don't even know what it is" I admitted
He laughed
"See..." he started
^^^^^
A smile was etched on my face as we walked down the road
"Are you that happy?" Ji Sung asked
I nodded
"That was so much fun" I responded
I looked at the two dolls I got thanks to Ji Sung. My excuse for not getting a single price was it's my first time, and I took comfort in knowing that we were both bad at the shooting range. He got me two dolls, a big and a small, while he got a medium size for himself
"What next?" I asked
"Where do you want to go to?" he asked
"This is my first time exploring Korea since I came here, so I don't know"
"You really are amazing. How can this be your first time?" he asked
"Molla. So just lead the way" I don't know I said
He smiled and,
"Follow me" said
My eye caught something. There were stools placed around with people sitting on most, some painting, some just drawing
"What?" he asked
"Let's go" he said
I snapped back to him
"Huh?"
"You want to sketch, don't you?" he asked
I shook my head
"Ah, ani. Let's go to where we're going" no I said
"This is where" he said and practically dragged me
He sat me down in front of an empty canvas and handed me a paint brush
"Here" he said
I was reluctant, but later took it from him with a smile
"Gomawo" thank you I told him
