Tae Woong waved at me as soon as he saw me
I waved back with a smile, before fully entering into the rooftop
"I guess you're no longer angry, seeing as you're smiling" Tae Woong said from the railing
"Huh? Angry?" I asked confused
"Yesterday" was all he said
I knitted my eyebrow, thinking
"Oh" I remembered, "I wasn't angry. Maybe surprised, but not angry. Why would I be?"
I joined him by the railings
"It's understandable if you are. I deceived you"
"That's taking it to the extreme. You just didn't tell me, and I didn't ask"
He smiled, and as usual, I followed suite. Even till now, I still smile automatically when he does. His smile is just so contagious and brightens his while face, making his handsome face more handsome
"That's good, then" he said
"But... when you said you had seen me before, what did you mean?"
"Ah, that. You were the girl that kept falling down" he said
"Sorry?"
"You were probably pushed every time, and you falling down" he explained
I said a silent 'ah', embarrassed
"I felt sorry and wanted to ask if you were okay. But that might bring some inconvenience to you, so I had to walk by. Sorry for that" he said
I shook my head
"It's okay, I think you did the right thing. Getting bombarded with that type of attention on my first day doesn't look so pleasant"
I was mildly embarrassed at the fact that he saw me fall
"So, we're good?" he asked
I chuckled
"Of course"
We didn't say anything afterwards, just annoying the breeze. Well, I was. We stayed there till the bell signalling the beginning of class, went off. The comfortable silence was still between us as we walked down, but it didn't last
"Ah!! Oppa!!" girls annoyingly squealed
They rushed to the guy at my side not even aware of my presence. I wasn't small, by the way. Once again, I was pushed to the floor, except, I didn't reach the floor this time
"Gwaenchanh-a?" Tae Woong asked are you okay?
Uh oh, I thought
His arms were around my waist, supporting me from falling. I was dazed for a moment but got my coordinates back when murmuring started circulating us
I quickly jumped out of his hand, dusting imaginary dirty off my clothes
"Um... yes. Thank you"
I gave him an awkward smile
"Mwoya?" a girl asked what is this?
Why are you standing like a statue? I asked myself, but I didn't do anything to rectify the situation
Thankfully, I was dragged away. I was taken away from the eyes of everyone . We walked for a while before we got into a room I haven't been to, neither have I been aware of
"What is this place? This is my first time" I said
"What was that all about?" Ji Sung asked
"What?... Oh, that. He just prevented me from falling down. Those humans just rushed towards him, without any consideration. Are they blind, or what? How could they just...?"
"Joh-ahani?" he cut me off do you like him?
I blinked at him, stupefied
"Mow?" I finally asked what?
"Do you like him?" he repeated
I crossed my arms and leaned back. I stared at him before breathing a laugh
"Ya, how did that question pop into the incident and this conversation? Nan... nan joh-ahani? Mworae?" hey... do..do I like him? what are you saying?
"You didn't answer me"
"Ani! Aniya! Naneun Tae Woong anh joh-a! Is that enough?" no! no! I don't like Tae Woong!
"Yes" he said with a smile
I glared at his smiley face, and turned to leave. I didn't though
"Aish!" I complained
I couldn't go out yet
Ji Sung patted a spit beside him on the floor. I didn't want to, but I did nevertheless
None of us said anything for a while
"What is this room?" I asked again
He smiled
"My hideout?"
"Huh?"
"It's a place where I come relax or destress. A place where I want to be alone. Kind of like my refuge" he said
I looked at him for a while
"Oh, so you have a place like that" I asked, though it sounded more like a statement
He nodded
"You can come too wherever you want. I'll share it with you"
"But don't you dare bring any one, or else..." he added
"I don't have anyone else to bring anyways" I said, smiling
"You can't like him" he suddenly said after a while
"Huh?"
"Han Tae Woong. You can't like him"
I leaned a little bit closer to him
"Wae? Jiltu?" I said why? are you jealous?
"As if? I just don't want you to make the poor boy suffer. Bro code"
I scoffed
"Bro code, my foot. Do you even like him?" I asked him
He just shrugged and kept his silence
We stayed, in silence, until we decide to finally resume our classes
"Gwaenchanh-a?" Tae Woong asked are you okay?
"Hmm?"
"You almost fell"
"And I didn't. Thank to you" I said
"Sorry" he apologized
I looked up from the work I was doing
"Mwoga?" I asked for what?
"I brought the unneeded attention, I was trying to keep you away from, to you" he said
I smiled
"Ah... That's fine. It was really nothing, I'm sure everyone will have forgotten it by tomorrow"
"And if they don't?"
"I'll take care of it, myself. It's really okay" I said
I wasn't only trying to make him feel better, I was saying the truth. I have gone through so much in life, to take any bull from some set of high school students.
"That's good, then" he said
We continued the work we were assigned by our teacher

I groaned as the bell rung
"Finally" I breathe out
I was so hungry, my stomach growled violently and silently in agreement
"Looks like someone's been waiting for lunch" Ji Sung commented
"I feel like I could eat an elephant. I'm so hungry"
"Well then, let's go. We don't to endanger the homo sapiens around here" he said
I rolled my eyes, but stood up anyways
"Are you joining us today?" I asked Tae Woong
He nodded
"Then, let's go" I said with a smile
We walked out of the class, with me slightly leaning on Ji Sung. I couldn't trust my legs with my full weight right now
I stopped
"You guys should go ahead. I want to use the restroom"
Ji Sung nodded
"It's best to take the old ones out before new ones in" he said
"Do you your lunch, or are you eating form the cafeteria?" Tae Woong asked, stopping me from hitting the big head beside him
"Cafeteria"
"Then I'll help get your lunch" he said with a smile
I smiled back
"Thanks" I said
I looked at Ji Sung, he was giving a pointed look. I ignored him and went to the bathroom
I did my business and was about to leave when I was stopped
Three girls stood in my front, arms folded, and in cliched positions
"Who are you?" the girl at the middle asked
"Aren't I the one who's supposed to ask that? You're the ones blocking my exit" I replied
She scoffed, and the side girls followed suit
"Mwo? What did you just say?" what?
"Didn't you hear me? I spoke loudly" I said
I didn't give them any chance to react, I pushed them aside and made my way to the boys
I smiled at Tae Woong
"Thanks" I said and began my lunch
