The atmosphere in the school was getting busier because the hall was filled with students who had just arrived. Many of them walked in carelessly, looking at the floor was still slightly damp, having just been cleaned.
A female janitor looks annoyed, and she immediately takes her valuable cleaning tools, as well as a warning sign that reads...
"I warned you, brats! The floor is wet, and if you fall! You will die and go to hell!"
Matilda - the super chatty janitor, snorted in annoyance. She saw her handwriting on the warning board, which she had pasted with large white cardboard. Handwriting in thick black paint that looks awful.
"Huh... looks like I have to change the words. How about I write..." Matilda looked deep in thought as she frowned.
"Ah... how about... you'll die from being eaten by a demon. That seems scarier?" She thought in annoyance.
"Miss Matilda, why are you daydreaming in the middle of the street like this?"
Sam - the teacher, had just arrived. He saw a warning sign with the words ... just say inhuman.
"I think the principal has already discussed this matter, hasn't he? Why didn't you delete the writing?" asked Sam, grinning.
"Ohh, Mr. Sam. Do you think those kids will listen with only the words watch out for wet floors? No! They're all crazy, and I think I want to move them to Mars!
"Just look... their dirty footprints are always there, even though my floor isn't dry yet. I feel like I want to become a witch so I can turn them into frogs," Matilda answered earnestly.
"Uhmm..." Sam scratched his head, and he knew that Matilda was a stubborn and quick-tempered person.
At the age of half a century, Matilda still works as a janitor. Sam had to admit, many students often teased Matilda and made the old woman even more emotional, even though she only uttered harsh words and curses in response to the student's naughty behavior.
"All right, Matilda. I hope you don't get called by the principal again," Sam patted Matilda on the shoulder sympathetically.
"Ah... about that?" Matilda recalled the figure of the man, who some time ago came to school with a haughty and arrogant attitude.
"Who told him to step on my wet floor! I don't like that man. Why does he have to be Bella's father? That girl has a stroke of bad luck," said Matilda, remembering David's face.
"Oh... no! It's about time, and I have to get ready," Sam glanced at his watch, not listening to Matilda's complaints, and after that, he just walked away, leaving the janitor still wearing a sour face.
"Huh, he's a poor guy too. Why does a guy like that still don't have a girlfriend? Even though his face isn't that bad," Matilda mumbled.
Sam walked in a hurry to the teacher's room. Today he remembers having to take an exam for Maths. But his footsteps stopped when he saw a male student was picking up stationery in the student locker.
"Ethan?" call Sam.
Ethan didn't turn around immediately, his eyes blinked in confusion, and he looked worried.
"Ethan?" Call Sam back.
"Yes?" He turned his body around while showing a wide smile with a row of white and neat teeth.
"Why didn't you come to see me yesterday? I was waiting for you, did you forget?" Sam asked, narrowing his eyes.
"Yesterday? Uhmm, yes, Mr. Sam! You're right. I forgot about that, I'm sorry,
"That's fine, but can we talk later at lunchtime?" Sam smiled like it was no big deal.
"How about after school? Today my class has a baseball game scheduled. Looks like at lunchtime I'm still practicing with my friends. How about it, do you mind. Mr. Sam?" Ethan explained nervously.
"No problem. I'll wait for you. See you after school."
Ethan breathed a sigh of relief and the tense face loosened, "Phew... how is this? Does he know about it?"
"Ethan!!!"
A girl's voice startled Ethan, so the boy was startled, and he almost fainted.
"BELLA!!" protested Ethan angrily.
"Why are you screaming like this? It's like you've seen a ghost. Hey... Do you want this?" Bella showed me a brown bag filled with lots of bread and milk.
"You know, Ethan. I was looking for a bakery so early in the open morning, it was all because I was starving," Bella kept on babbling.
"Uhmm? You're... Bella?" Ethan looked strange with Bella's attitude that already seemed normal. Not like the Bella he met yesterday.
"No! I'm not Bella! I'm Billie Eilish. You want to see me sing..." Bella had opened her mouth big and started singing loudly.
The shrill and discolored voice was enough to make Ethan realize that the girl in front of him was Bella.
"Enough, Bella!" Ethan covered his ears and glared at Bella in annoyance.
"You want to be the center of attention, huh! Because if that's what you mean. Just enough with your silly behavior yesterday!"
Bella immediately closed her mouth tightly. "why are you angry? anyway..."
"Never mind... we have to go to class immediately," Ethan replied a little curtly and immediately walked away without waiting for Bella continuing her word.
"Ethan!!!" Bella exclaimed and immediately followed Ethan.
"Hey... why are you so weird? See... I brought a lot of food for the two of us. You remember, today we will have a match," Bella still followed her friends.
"Yes... yes... I remember. After all, it was just a normal match. Why are you so excited anyway?" Ethan protested had entered the class.
"Then what should I do?" Bella asked, not understanding.
Ethan put down his bag and sat down immediately, looking reluctant to answer Bella's question. His thoughts were still running, and he looked at Bella with a worried face.
"Bella?"
"Yes, why?"
"Ahh... never mind, nothing," Ethan looked irritated, and he didn't dare to ask Bella.
***
It was noon when lunchtime had just ended.
Physical Education at that time was very fun for Bella. She already couldn't stop herself from changing her clothes immediately. She has brought her favorite baseball bat to the field area.
"Are you sure you can do it?" asked Ethan looking worried.
"Of course, I can do it. Those girls need to be punished!" said Bella looking at her opponent with vicious eyes like a murderer.
At the far end of the field, there's Fiona who stands out with her big body. Not far away, Emily is ready to give her best throw for Bella.
"Last time you fought with them. And... it was because of me, right? Even your father came and scolded you," said Ethan feeling guilty.
"Never mind, don't worry about it. They interfere too much, and I'll teach them a lesson!" Bella knocked her baseball bat down, hitting the soft grass.
Ethan looked worriedly at Bella, "Okay, but... you have to be careful, Bella,"
"Relax, Ethan," Bella grinned confidently.
Bella was already walking towards the field. She had time to look at Ethan was still sitting on the bench. But he quickly glanced at Emily and Fiona. The two girls slit their throats with their forefingers, signaling a vile warning to Bella.
But Bella just stuck her tongue out in annoyance and was ready to mount her stance when the baseball game was about to start.
The cue from the male gym teacher - Mr. Dom, was in sight when he sounded the whistle. Bella immediately tightened her grip on the baseball bat, and a pair of eyes stared straight at the ball in Emily's hands.
"You die, this time!" Emily said quietly from a distance. She had already spun the ball in her hand, and she was ready to throw it at Bella.
Bella seemed focused and didn't want to be bothered by Emily's attitude trying to provoke her when Bella was in Batter's position.
"I can do it..! I can do it!" Bella muttered encouragingly to herself. Once again, she looked at Ethan was staring from the bench.
"Bella, get ready, and you have to focus," said Roby.
The boy was beside Bella, and he sat crouched with his hands starting to give a signal.
Bella took a deep breath, and she saw Emily swinging a baseball that was sure to be heading straight for Bella.
But at that time, something strange happened to Bella. It was as if something had possessed her until Bella couldn't see anything but darkness.
"Huh... what's this?"
Tang!!!
The baseball had just hit Bella's nose, and before long, the young girl had fallen unconscious quickly.
