Flashback.
Emily had to get used to her new place of residence. A place far from the city center. In fact, she had to leave early to get to school.
It was still early in the morning, and Emily had just arrived at school. The janitor, Matilda, was on duty and saw her at the time.
"Morning, Emily," Matilda greeted kindly.
Emily just shrugged and kept walking. She was too tired to return Matilda's greeting.
"Huh! Why young people don't understand ethics?" said Matilda, and she left.
In the classroom, Emily is mostly silent and reading textbooks. It was actually normal for Emily to study. But it became a different thing because she seemed to keep her distance from Fiona and Anya.
"Emily?" greeted Anya cheerfully, pulling up a chair so she could sit close to him.
"What is it?"
"I should be the one asking you. Why are you going crazy studying? You're already smart," Anya sneered and closed the textbook Emily was reading.
